I'll get PPR in a few months despite not having paid any taxes to Canada while thousands of CECs will be deported after paying thousands of dollars in taxes. Best news. Hope CECs have some money left to buy a plane ticket back home (bad country + very low wages).

Damn, you're on top form today

well then why didn't ircc conduct a 75 CRS FSW draw? if it ever happened the fsw's won't give one duck if ircc halted draws, woah wait, if ircc ever notified "we are halting fsw draws indefinitely" then nobody got grudge over anyone.

you remember this boss?
well until now i didn't feel like celebrating, but now I'm joining my comrades on this celebration. you ignited it for me thanks

what's your AOR?
how do you feel if it reaches 3+ years of processing? and ircc holding tr2pr and 50 crs cec draws
You know its bad when even @dankboi is pissed

The only thing that gave an orgasm was when Fraser said "There is no shortage of economic migrants in the process to come to Canada from a variety of economic streams. The federal skilled workers (FSW) stream is an excellent tool to bring people with serious talents to Canada. We have not come up with a perfect solution to keep folks (CEC) in Canada. We will continue to process applicants in the inventory across various economic streams. (I loved this part) Please forgive me, if I won't agree that one (CEC) particular stream would provide the only opportunity for the businesses. We have to look across all the lines of businesses (other economic streams) to bring people. " to the question of what measures would be taken to extend the status of CEC grandpas once their temporary permits expire.

Guess, Fraser will let temporary permits expire coz he even Fraser knows that CEC is not the so-called high-skilled bunch rather a pure piece $hit.
I reckon if Sean was the minister in 2020 instead of Marco, CEC 75 would never have happened and there would have been no backlog. Marco really left IRCC in deep shit.

The only thing I'm unhappy with Fraser's speech is that it took my bi-weekly CEC no-draw thrill away. I'll pretend not to know what he said and just continue to get excited for and celebrate CEC no-draws every other week.

The parliament should also discuss placing a 10 year ban on deported CECs to help IRCC's processes and melt down the backlog. I think it's no harm since it's only temporary.

Guys can I ask you a question? I was postponing my marriage for the draws, now I am considering to just go for it. When I use the CRS calculator, I choose married and "my wife is not going to Canada with me" options, and I see my score does not change. This is mainly because this girl I am going to marry is currently not graduated and still preparing for her IELTS, with no work experience, So if I asy she is going to Canada with me, she will drop my score by more than 25 points. Now I got 2 questions if you guys can help me:

1) Am I understanding this correct, as if I update my profile as married but select the option that "my wife is not going to Canada with me" my score will remain the same? I mean, getting married itself does not lower my CRS score?
2) If the answer to 1st question is yes, can I do like that - so that my score does not get affected by my marriage - and once I get an ITA (hopefully!!), I update as my wife is now going to go with me to Canada?

Many thanks in advance for your suggestions everyone
1. Yes. That should be the case ideally.
2. No. If you initially show “spouse not accompanying” before ITA and then change it to “spouse accompanying” after ITA or after AOR, your points will be recalculated. If the new score is lower than the cut-off score for the draw that got you the ITA, your application is deemed inadmissible and is rejected. Also, when you put in the “spouse not accompanying” option, you have to include a legitimate reason for why you’re not taking your spouse (people usually show ongoing jobs or education in home country for this).

The only way your scores don’t get recalculated is if you get married AFTER you get your AOR. If you go down that route, ensure you save copies of chat history with your spouse from before your marriage, which is one of the documents they’ll ask for when adding your spouse to the application.
