Here's the thing. If he is meeting with Sean Fraser, he could very easily ask him SPECIFICALLY about FSW draws. Not CEC, not express entry, not any other umbrella term. Specifically FSW. He knows this has been a pain point for almost 2 years with the lack of transparency and uncertainty.

But he won't. He will not bring it up, and he will not ask for clarity. And I refuse to believe this is because of incompetence. He's a very capable guy, and has very clear reasons not to ask for clarification regarding FSW draws. We will NOT be getting any useful updates in 3 weeks or whenever.
Who is meeting with Sean Fraser?

My man don't even believe Holthe.

Think about this, Holthe is just an immigration lawyer, like any other lawyer in Canada. Why would Fraser specifically meet up with Holthe?

Most likely, it's a consultation / news update with the immigration, and Holthe will join. That's it.

Holthe will say anything just for view, yet he is not the one ordering ATIP. For that I will just ask him to fuck off.

In Canada, there are grades of truth. You get low grade truth about your application from your portal. You get medium grade truth from calling the IRCC. You get high grade truth from GCMS notes. Pure truth either does not exist or is too dangerous for the country to be released in open, so it is contained and destroyed as soon as it is produced or used.

Hehehehe... Do you have the IRCC number to call, I want to find out about my app status

He is a chapter head of Canadian bar association. Meaning that he represents his province during those meetings.

I don't see your point about ATIP. Even if he orders them, he is not obligated to share what he orders. That's his right.

He might ask and he might get an answer. One thing to know is that those meetings are not open to general public. Most likely, he is not allowed to share many things, unless he is permitted to do so.

In the honor of today's tragic memo, I present to you the words of Emily Dickinson!

Success is counted sweetest
By those who ne'er succeed.
To comprehend a nectar
Requires sorest need.

Not one of all the purple Host
Who took the Flag today
Can tell the definition
So clear of victory

As he defeated – dying –
On whose forbidden ear
The distant strains of triumph
Burst agonized and clear!

Hi folks

Need a little advice. I'll be getting my stamped passport back in a couple of days (details in signature). My counterfoil is valid until December 2022, but I have to travel to Canada before my medicals expire, as the Ready For Visa Letter says "Your Permanent Resident document(s) will expire one year after the date of your medical examinations". Here's the timeline of my medicals:

Medical exam: 22 Sep 2020
Medicals expired: 21 Sep 2021
Medicals reassessed and extended: 22 Dec 2021

I don't know the duration of the extension (6 months or 1 year) or if the extension is counted from the date of expiry or the date of reassessment+extension and I don't intend to order GCMS notes to find out. I'm thinking of going with the safer option of just travelling to Canada for a soft landing ASAP and get this whole thing over with before things get stuck again.

Any thoughts?
