I remember he did/said something some time ago and then legal falcon posted a tweet (or FB comment) about why what Kubeir was talking about will never happen. Kubeir replied with “lol” or something of that sort.

He doesn’t know anything. He gets his views from blind optimism that is not backed up by anything.

I went to watch his interview with Steven mainly because of Steven. I googled him beforehand and I was curious about what he had to say.
It is one big bs do you know how many extra hours of consultations they will have now

Folks, CALM THE FK DOWN. Let's analyze the memo.

Just had a chance to dig deeper into this post. Steve is doing a Holthe here by having a misleading title. The focus of this memo is to take measures to reduce the processing times which was confirmed by the mandate letters. So we can all be sure that IRCC will continue to bring the processing times down and will look to issue more PPR's. One interesting thing from the memo is that IRCC says they have enough applicants under processing to meet the 2022 target. Another important insight is that we will not see an FSW or CEC draw until June of 2022. PNP draws will continue to happen even if an Atom bomb is dropped on the city of Ottawa. PNP is basically the master race, not the CEC like we all thought it to be.

What about 36 monthly processing times?

According to the memo, as of Nov 1st, 2021, the processing times were 20.4 months for FSW and it is "expected" to grow to 36 months. The keyword is "expected".
  • Why it is expected? Because there is a huge backlog.
  • What IRCC wants to do with the backlogs? Simple. Clear them.
  • But how? By pausing the draws until mid-2022.
  • Where it is mentioned? Fking first point of the Memo.
If no measures are not taken, the backlog will continue to grow and it is "expected" to sit at 36 months. And that, my friends, is why IRCC wants to process the existing applications by requesting a pause on the draws until mid-2022.

Did you people forget the below article published on Nov 25th, 2021 one day after this memo was published?

https://www.cicnews.com/2021/11/ircc-looking-to-tackle-express-entry-backlogs-before-resuming-fswp-and-cec-invitations-1119698.html#gs.mac56v

The article basically sums up what the above memo says. We all started breathing a little bit after this article was published and one should not worry about this memo because the article talked about what's in the memo on Nov 25th of 2021 itself.

Why post this memo now?

Steve Meurren's name took a hitting today after he made a series of predictions on a 3rd rated youtube channel run by some desi. From this memo, we can conclude that PR applications will not be canceled, no draws are expected until June, and the PNP draw will continue. Little b**tard Steve just wanted to clear the air. If I were Steve, I would never talk to Kubeir ever.
exactly what I was saying yesterday = enough appsfor 2022 and the backlog means draws start from June contributing to 2023 target. It is actually a pretty rational decision

Will they actually go through with this is the question. I am leaning towards not.

What I don't understand is where the hell is TR2PR in the immigration plan?? FHS consists fsw, cec. Where is TR2PR in the plan? Or the plan is then really to reduce the slot allocated for FHS to 50K and give the other 50K to TR2PR?

While you don't really have to learn the language in Germany, Sweden and Netherlands to lead your professional career, social life does take a hit, there's no dispute about that. This is a problem for single fellas though, couples (with kids especially) will encounter minimal annoyance due to language barriers. These are all from the experiences of my single and non-single friends moving to EU. So I encourage people to give it a shot.

By the way, in those countries I mentioned there actually is a clear pathway for PR. You only need to be working for 5+ years and some require low to mid levels of language capabilities which can easily be tackled during your 5+ years there.

Outland immigration might come back to Canada as you said but it'll take 3-4 years to clear this mess. If you're 23-25 years old and still working towards 3+ years of experience to get max score, you're sort of unharmed by this shitshow. But fellas in their late 20s and early 30s should move on if they don't wanna waste time.

Yeah FSWs are processing at the snail's pace but people should be warned that they'll wait 2-3 years at least; unless they file mandamus. The real danger is for pre-ITA fellas (and post-AOR fellas who don't wanna waste their youth waiting on Canada).
In regards to processing. It’s natural that at this stage there is 2-3 years processing timeline because during 2021 no one worked on Outland applications. This number will naturally go down as more and more resources will be dedicated to fsw.

About Germany. I am not talking about social life, mate. I am talking about functioning in a society. You need an id? Forms are in German. You need an explanation how to get somewhere? German, again. I know that for documents, you don’t need German; but to survive in the country, you need to. Plus, as we get older, we are naturally less prone to picking up new things and time is an issue, as well.

About moving on; I think people who could do it are working on all the options. The problem is that for certain group of people, abandoning Canada means abandoning all the years of hard work and dedication, they poured in. For some professions, it also means studying for to pass license exams (now in German). It’s a huge move, mate.

Yes. So, from what I understand, the plan is to reduce highly skilled workers to accommodate tr2pr

i think waiting in the pool is transitioning people to be a Canadian. The things we knew for months is the same shit that bughole and shitven discussed yesterday in the stream and people panicked as if they heard it for the first time.
becoming a Canadian will actually cause your neurons to process stuffs at a slower pace.
There's nothing new coming out of any YT channels. Our forum brings data without an ATIP and analyzed it way earlier than these pricks on YT did.

It is true. There is one thing that will make people crazy when I day this. Never you should threat an immigration plans as 100% guaranteed… it is a fact. I am not saying that whatever they are doing is good. A lot of things could be done differently but never, never you should take immigration as a guarantee. Geo-political situations might change, pandemic, economy etc. etc.

You do you mate; you'll only have wasted your years. EU is not only Germany, there are quite a few countries. If you want to wait 4 years that's your choice.

The question is what will happen when cec draws come back. At this stage, it looks like it’s either, they will push some fsw to 2023 processing, or push tr2pr to 2023

They will most certainly do that. No draws until May/June IF they can keep the processing time at 6 months. If not then it would be rational to start sooner because if it takes more than one year to finalize an app and land a person then starting earlier is the rational decision as those people MUST land in 2023.
Only they know how quickly they can process files in the upcoming year.
What also seems logical is that the slot allocated for FSH for 2023 and 2024 FHS will be reduced which allows IRCC to welcome TR2PR people. So roughly 50K is left for FSW for 2023 and same for 2024. Pre ITA people must have very high scores. ITA below 470+ won't ever happen again. Looking at the EE pool there are 30K people above 471. IRCC will likely take those and that is all for 2023 for FHS.
But that is just my opinion.

No, you are right. Immigration is always a volatile matter. That’s why I went through hell to pick up a new profession that will make me as flexible as possible. I lost friends, a girlfriend, messed up my sleep patterns but I was able to get it done.

But what they discussed is not all BS and sounds very logical because of IRCC's behavior in the last two years. I am seriously considering plan B now.

I have learnt that myself. I was just about to get transferred to US and what. Covid hit and wverything was put on halt, and my plan went to the bin :/ there are risks associated with immigration. Remember guys, I am not saying that everything what they are doing is good but honestly, stop panicing because of these two clowns.
