Mr. Kangaroo, when is the announcement date for TR2PR²?
March probably, or sooner. I think it'll be back to back with the return of all program draws. Well, it won't be all program draws actually because they're gonna have to separate low score inlands from high score FSW beasts; that's the whole point right? So let's say it'll be back to back with the trend of inland/outland alternating draws.

They need it sooner than later you know because the further away they are from covid the harder it is to justify why they completely destroyed outland immigration. I don't think they have any worries about 2022 targets because backlog alone is enough to cover it.

Can it be because majority of visa applicants are Indian or Chinese? If those percentages are calculated among each corresponding nationality then yeah I see your point.
I am not sure about Chinese but Indians ,mainly they reject people who have extremely messy grades in their undergrad more than 4 back papers (more than 4 failed exams) ,poor english ( some even fail to get a 6.5 in ielts),fraudulent documents ( especially bank statements, in US ,that is the most common reason Indians gets rejected).
Even some idiots who are so messed up got a visa to Canada.
Now about 40% rejection rate I am not at all surprised.
The best picks us as first option ( even though a bad idea)
2nd best picks Germany
3rd best picks rest of EU
Next after this they pick Canada.
So Canada doesn't get good talent ,mostly the bottom of the pool that is why you can see a lot of rejections.
Usually in terms of skill best goes to us (Germany for mech engineering)and worst goes to Canada and middle east.

I wish I were as smart as Indians then. US > Germany > EU > Canada is the right order. My dumb ass did the opposite and wasted 5-6 years on it. I've already been applying to jobs in US and EU but international job hunt is rough and I'm gonna give it another month or two while waiting for the new details to surface on Canada's side. Then I'll most likely cash my POF out and go to Germany or Netherlands.

Trust me Indians picking US is dumb strategically in terms of immigration ( including me) it is just a waste of time and a kiss of death

True I will wait till sep 2022 ,which means I have spent 2 years of my life on this after that simple fuck this.
Only my eligibility is passed and info sharing is done, I still have criminality and security to start with med expired, so I am not planning to spend 2023 on this shit.
Info Sharing done means Security is intiated and may be done by now.

We are trying actually. This will be our second year. My heart is longing for Canada but my brain says if there is a chance then USA because there are many many more job opportunities for us. USA healthcare concept is hard to digest for a European, I have had free healthcare all my life.
Also I am moving to Western Europe soon with free healthcare, free childcare these are very important for me because within a few years we want to start a family.
US healthcare is messed up. You have all the world class facilities and state of the art technologies but most of us cannot afford it. The vacation hours are pathetic. Nothing is free in the US. Education, healthcare daycare is expensive no matter where you live in the US.
Only good thing in the US is the amount of money you can earn. You can earn infinite amount of money. I would say just maintain the ties with your country so that if you need any healthcare emergency you can just book a flight and go there for the treatment and get back to US.

I don't know whether your field, if you are an engineer, you may face challenges in Germany unless you know German, because Baisically they use their own technical terms in German that means you have to relearn everything.

Germany is a heaven for all sorts of international engineers bro. I have quite a few friends working in Germany for many years now, they're all happy, none of them speak German. Social life does take a hit though.

My only friends who struggle in their careers are those who chose to stay in Canada lol

That depends on the company, for example my company has generous health insurance and vacation but pay is shit and high job security. To get job in my company it is tough though because it is health care ,not only mine any health care company it is is the same.
Getting above 100k is a dream in my company.
If you are a family oriented person that is the best place to work .I know 3 generations of a family. working in my facility
But if you are a forigner it is bit different lol.

My friend is in Spain he said he is totally fucked up because they only know Spanish and when he went to Germany he had trouble, he is a civil engineer though.
