+1(514) 937-9445 or Toll-free (Canada & US) +1 (888) 947-9445
Is this for real? I mean the 3000 draw is an indication they are reducing CEC quota to bring in FSW next?
Or could there be any other reason for this?
Put it simply, they do not want to run out of places open this year fast.

Hey Pal. I am gonna stop with this. I promise.

You seem to have a problem with folks who moved to the US and especially the ones from India because you were kicked out of the US and were jobless???? Wow.. Wow... Wow.... Son, you fascinate me in many ways. Even after working in the US, you had a sub-par score of four hundred and thirty-three? What are you? Aan 50-year-old man? Is this the reason you are jealous of high-scoring young folks?? Did your wife take your jobless *** to Canada as a dependent spouse???? Is this is the reason you are jobless and online 24 hours??

And you still think I make subway sandwiches... Lol. To be frank, I just pity folks like you. I am gonna leave it here.
Mehn, you've got a lot of time on your hands. Lol. We've known a long time what a bad-ass troll the guy is, stop empowering his naughty bullocks by responding to whatever rubbish he's got to say. Just let him type away. He is probably jobless, depending on CERB to get by. Or, how do you explain his actions? Just let him be, mate.

I read somewhere that apps w/ 2019-2020 ITA don't count towards this year or next's quota, meaning they are "sunk" (as in "sunk cost")

Also a friendly reminder that there's a backlog of 370k+ rn...

IRCC can sure take their time.

Oh, and also there's ~13k left to reach this year's quota. And it's not even Sept yet...

IRCC is doomed if they stop draws. They'll keep inviting for 2022.

Then why are they renewing expired COPR's and issuing PPR's to US residents?

You can't count ITAs in a year to figure out the situation of the targets. It's not how it works.

That's for the select few. They gotta find a way to clear some of the backlog I guess...

Also isn't the sheer backlog size larger than 2012's mass cancellation debacle (280k iirc?)

That would be a diasater. Would it also mean that they are saving some for all class draws in Sep? I mean they have an aggressive PR target for 2021, 2022, and 2023

Not sure, they have always stuck to their yearly target and they also used to have 2-3 1 week gaps every year which would skyrocket the score, remember those? If they want to stick to the target again, I think no more draws for the rest if the year soon, that 27k draw was so unnecessary.

Right.......select few.......got it.......

Guys... no need to gradually decrease draws from 6000 to 4500 to 3000. They could've done 6000 fixed then just stopped. Chill, draws won't stop.
