machine readable na yata yun. around 2008 yata yung renew ko nun. brown sya. tinangap ang passport ko sa US embassy when I had my tourist visa application last year.

i think, ang brown na sinasabi mo ay yung lumang luma na. dati kasi brown ang passport, then naging green, then balik brown ule.

sorry pala. red-colored passport pala sabi.

you mean hindi pwede yung maroon passport na may chip? kasi yung sa wife ko and two kids wala pang chips pero new passport na, color maroon. when i had my passport renewed last year, it is still color maroon with chip already. kailangan pa ba sila magpalit ng passports?

for medicals, may format pa ba kailangan for the immunizations of the kids? hindi ba pwede written certification from the doctor?

hey guys! Ecas status to today Received by VO na.

Wala na bang additional forms to add, like a payment form tulad nung pinadala naten sa CIO?

kasi, paano nila masasabi ang payment ay galing sayo, with your application no., if cheque lang papadala?

yung passport ko ay kulay maroon but i think wala pang chips that is why i was asking if it is still acceptable yung kulay maroon which was issued last 2008. that was the time when the dfa shifted from the green one to the maroon passport but not sure if that was already an epassport.

parehas tayo. yun ang information page sa passport na parang hologram na. my daughter has the epassport, and same kulay lang, same hitsura ng information page sa passport, pero makapal ang passport cover, tapos may parang ibang logo additional sa labas ng passport.

hello blueray333... you can write FOR FSW1 APPLICATION NO: and then your NAME using a PENCIL at the back of the BD... that's what i did and it got through naman... plus i attached a letter (using a paper clip) to the BD addressed to the VO stating my immigration file number and name...

i hope this helps... goodluck! ;D

thanks canimmigrant. how did you pay it pala, in pesos or cad? kasi, ang nasa website, php 21,000. pero june 2009 last updated yun. sa letter ko natangap, same amount.

concern lang ako, kasi, kung kulang raw pag peso, due to volatile exchange rates, ibabalik raw application ko. that's what i have read dito sa ibang topics.

Together with the PCCs and bankdraft (CAD$980 to be sure, for me and spouse) addressed to Canadian Embassy Manila, I sent a photocopy of the request( it contains full name, address, email, UCI and file #).

" Payment of Right of Permanent Residence fees (RPRF) of CAD$490 or Php21,000 for yourself and if applicable, your accompanying spouse/common-law-partner...
Payment must be made by means of a certified cheque, postal money order, bank draft or manager's check issued within the last three (3) months from submission and made payable to "Canadian Embassy, Manila." Cash is not accepted and fees in pesos are subject to change without prior notice..."

thanks ladyk. that is one good option also. this makes sure the BD is referenced to the request from Embassy for payment.

Saang bank ka pala nagpagawa ng bankdraft for Canadian Currency? and paano mo pinadala?

http://www.chinacanada.ca/web/down/immunization.pdf

hello, lizz..... we had our MR sa clinic ni Dr. Vanessa Ann Larida, the first name sa list of DMPs sa Cebu..... but I think she was not the one who did the MR kasi nai-kwento nung Doctor (as we do the Physical Exam) na pumalit sya sa dating DMP in that clinic kasi 'yung dati nasa Canada na raw, nag migrate din.... then I saw her ID and parang hindi Dr. Larida.... if I remeber it right, I think it starts with the letter C.... anyway, mabait siya especially with our kids.... with regards to the immunizations, I asked my kids' pedia for a medical certificate indicating the immunizations pero ang hiningi sa clinic is a photocopy only of the immunization records sa baby book....pina handwritten lang nya ang pangalan nga mga anak ko for their corresponding photocopied immunization record..... ;)
