I checked my Ecas today,this is the update so far!


We received your application for permanent residence on November 9, 2010.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on February 23, 2011. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Your application was reviewed and we started processing on March 24, 2011.


Sana nman mka received ako ng MR,RPRF at FORMS para sa COA at CIIP next week hopefully.Sana nman,wlang interview,and since my additional member ako atsaka sa April 20 pa yon passport ng baby ko,o k na din if they will sent me a RPRF.

may question po ako ulit ...
up to now still some reviewing and have some confusions...

1.) ano po ang ilalagay ko if up to current may job ka...or any activity that you have is still on going?
should i leave it blank na lang or shall i type the date today before i mail it...
gets nyo po ba yung question ko?

2.) did you submit actual employment cert or certified true copies only?

3.) All caps po ba ginawa nyo pag prinint sa computer or not?

2. Pd naman na pag humingi ka cert of employment 2 copies na kunin mo, so ung 1 orig ibigay mo na sa CIO, samahn mo pa ng calling card ng company at contact person para mas okay, tas job description i attach mo or i incorporate mo sa cert.

3. ung mga names ALL CAPS ko, pero ung iba di na, usual na procedure na sinusunod mo pag nagpi fill up ka na ung 1st letter ang kina cap mo, like address (cmpre if u live in jose rizal street, J R S cap siya. I understand how u feel na u want everything to be perfect and pleasing sa eyes ng program officer, but relax ka lang para mas makita mo ung detalye coz the more nervous u are the more u cant see what's missing or wats wrong.

I am currently preparing our docs for resubmission, wala talaga kong kasawa sawa sa pagpi fill up hehehe,(this will be my 3rd or 4th time? see sa dami i lost count alredy, joke ;D) and what i did was i printed out all the guidelines from CIO, from VO, then i followed filling up one by one according to the doc checklist para di nakakahilo. after printing them out, check it ulit and take note of the data, if me error i note mo na, tas ihiwalay mo ung okay na. then retype.

i arrange mo ng according sa check list, tas pirmahan na ang dapat pirmahan (importante to!) ung VO dapat, MANILA, PHILIPPINES. Saka chekc mo ung form na dapat si PA lang magpi fill up at baka naman pati di PA e nag fill up malito program officer handling it. Pag okay na, isunod mo na mga supporting documents, check mo from guidelines kung ano mga need nila okay? madali lang to, basta keep cool ka lang neh? goodluck Cherbel ;D

We need to appeal daw by providing more proof from my employer. hays I am losing hope na fren.

don't lose hope, the fact that u were told na u can still make an appeal is already a sign of hope ;D this is a good thing, u can still make an appeal. unsolicited advise, maganda if u cn provide an original proof coming from your employer, perhaps u have a picture together with the employer, or letter/affidavit executed by the employer? di ba private nurse ka? maybe a certificate from the doctor or hospital billing just to show that the px was confined or undergoing treatment for so and so...kung pd rin mag execute ung dr or hospital that u'r the nurse caring for the px mas okay, tas original ang isubmit mo. notarized ito mas okay. ano pa ba? isp pa ko ulit...

Help007 is the CHC london Applicant got Reply .

Last month, my brother Ecase start showing Decision made before medical. As from most of the post, we got the the idea that it is a rejection. Today, nearly after one month, we send email to CHC London. We received the following reply.

"Your application has simply been transferred to our new computer system (GCMS) and your new file number is E***********. The decision shows as being made, because your old file had to be closed when transferred to the new system.

Would like to share with you these things para kung saka sakaling nagloloko/magloloko ang ECAS eh at least we'll have an idea kung bakit (and hopefully it's just not REJECTION).

CIC's eCAS or eclient system allows you to check the status of your Canada immigration application online at no cost.
It doesn't actually provide much information about your application, usually just what stage of processing it has reached and whether a decision has been made.

eCAS is a term that often refers to by the terms FOSS & CAIPS notes

Global Case Management System GCMS is the "new" system (it has been a project of the Canadian government for many years.
Cost estimate $200 million.
The system allows extensive free form text notes for users (not the public) - and many other undisclosed "clever" things that will aid fraudulent activity.
Transfer of data from ecas has been happening for a while now.

You can't order GCMS notes yet.

Where as ECAS stands for Electronic Client Application Status--- which an applicant can use to check their processing status as the CIC updates as it made available.....

The Global Case Management System (GCMS)

GCMS is a critical component of the infrastructure that will help CIC accomplish its strategic outcomes and priorities. GCMS is a multi year initiative designed to replace 12 legacy systems currently used by the staff of both CIC and the CBSA. With an integrated, automated case management system to support client operations around the globe, GCMS will facilitate the move towards more streamlined operations, standardized business practices and improved client service in both organizations. A key component of CIC's client service improvement plan, GCMS will also help communicate and share appropriate data with partners and provide timely and accurate information needed for effective operations and sound management decisions.

Based on departmental requirements, CIC received approval to initiate the GCMS project in 2000-2001. The contract to purchase the system and develop the application was signed in March 2003. Later that year, the creation of the CBSA and the subsequent transfer of immigration functions between CIC and the CBSA resulted in GCMS becoming a shared system and a key tool for both organizations to manage the movement of clients.

The first GCMS release was deployed to citizenship offices across Canada and the citizenship case processing centre in Sydney, Nova Scotia in September, 2004. The successful rollout of the Citizenship component of GCMS proved that the system was viable. As work continued on the project, however, it became clear that the completion of all remaining functionality would take longer than initially expected. Complications revealed during the testing phase resulted in the decision to carry out a thorough review of the project. It was assessed based on the entire client continuum in order to determine the most effective means of successfully completing it. The findings of an independent review conducted in December 2006 indicated that the decision to re-evaluate was indeed prudent. In February 2007, CIC sought the TBS's authorization, through a Treasury Board Submission, to revise the Amended Effective Project Approval (A/EPA) with respect to budget and schedule. This amendment was to allow the review and analysis work to continue and to prepare, by October 31, 2007, an amended EPA submission for the authority to complete the project, supported by a revised plan with proposed schedule and estimated cost. With the February 2007 submission, the project team also committed to provide a comprehensive progress report to TBS in June 2007.

The goal for the GCMS project remains to ensure the safe, low-risk implementation of the system.
