@astralsource, lets hope for the best. From what I have seen in the forum, due dates are when the officer has a look at it again. So when he looks at it on 12th and he sees everything is done, he could trigger a PPR!!
I can work with that.
So your eligibility will be finished 20 August and then only Security, it can be the same day. PPR in September.

What I dont understand is why they check eligibility TWICE! Once in CIO Sydney and then they change it back to Not Started and push the file to London VO. The only logical explanation is that they don't want to push it to final VO if the person doesn't pass eligibility. But if the eligibility is passed, then why not save time and only do security in London VO? I don't get this. My notes clearly show eligibility notes as passed and threshold met at CIO. And then another agent the very next day changes it back to "Not Started" and ships it off to London. Bizarre!
My eligibility is checked twice too, first by the case analyst then by officer.

Man thanks for the notes. Considering yours and mine timeline are similar excpet for IP2, I am gonna consider my application has been out on hold too till 20 August. This way I can relax a bit.
No, the first eligibility check matched with the date they had put as due date. The next due date at London office is put as August 20th! So if I'm really lucky, they might do eligibility on 20th August and put me on IP2 and give PPR on that day or a few days later.... I hope! Who knows!
thanks

So hopefully I should go to IP2 around August 20th. I will wait till August 25th and if there is no change in status, I shall give them a call - Call number 3!

That was a very informative post john 100000000000 likes, very well written, though sad also, that files are just lying around for so many dates, huh.
I guess @gurik was right when she said the process is only of a week max, when some work is actually done on your file, rest is just rotting!
Wish this month ends the agonising wait my friend, praying for you.

hey reagarding the call, did you ever made a call to hear automated response was that recorded too? Asking for a friend who is listening daily automated responses?

Thank you for all the support my friend!! Thank you for still hanging around the ship! Hahah.
No, listening to the automated responses is not recorded in GCMS notes. Only the actual calls are recorded.
Even emails are not recorded.
CSE is naturally recorded and my CSE shows including the file name I uploaded.

Thank you john, i am here till all you wonderful people have the golden e-mail. We are going to snatch it from CIC's slow shaking hands!
Nobody abandons the ship in hard times and the captain of course:D
August will have to be THE month now!

Good to know! So whatever is happening is following the normal process and nothing adverse yet. Its just sloooow.

I am also now convinced that timelines are purely Visa office dependent. While Security checks may depend on nationality or countries visited etc, the whole R10, A11.2, Medical, criminality timelines are all purely resource and VO office based. While CIO and London are working on one month deadlines per process, perhaps Ottawa with their higher resources and faster medical pass dates are working on maybe 10 day deadlines. Shaving off 10 to 15 dates per process deadline reduces overall timelines by months!

Surprisingly in the Notes section just before the Review type they have recorded the email for VO enquiry for me. It says "Status enquiry received from PA via email. Status template response sent".
