Hi Fellas,

I saw a new iupdate n my profile today. My status for additional documents changed to "We do NOT need............" from "We need additional......".
The latter one has been in my profile since the upgrade on June 6. I guess someone reviewed my file today and changed the status.

I take it as a good sign.

So what does it imply?
Should it be taken positively that Ottawa is faster than ndvo?
Or it doesn't make much difference?

I was told by @KiranK that Ottawa is faster than NDVO.

Pls Brothers,

I was having a discussion with a friend and these questions came up:

1. When is Proof of Funds checked OK in our applications by the Agents.
2. What do R10 completeness entails ? What is passed at R10 ?

I did some research on this on older threads in the forum. It says all applications are initially processed at CIO where R10 and A11.2 Checks are done. From there it goes to LVO. However it says on the forum and also on CIC website that Ottawa mainly handles Canadian and USA applications. I am sure its a load factor thing too. However does that mean, since my application is in CIO and you guys are already in Ottawa, It could be that you guys are 'ahead' of when it comes to the processing? Perhaps you guys are. We will really not know.

Proof of Funds is a qualitative analysis and hence I would think its a A11.2 Check. Not 100% sure though.
R10 is nothing except ensuring that the application is complete. PCC and all other upload slots are uploaded with the correct and right documentation. ITs more of if anything is missing rather than a qualitative check. The qualitative check happens at A11.2 where they will see if your NOC and reference letter makes sense, eligibility, and if you have done shady stuff like photoshopped the reference letter. LOL

it's safe to say that with R10 completeness, all documents are correct and complete, and nothing is outstanding.
lol at shady stuff like photoshopped ref letter, like seriously, who does that?
we will keep believing in our dreams.

Oh you will be surprised on people wanting to photoshop stuff, fake the transcripts and what not. Thats why CIC puts us though this lengthy process of ECA verification and putting letters through a scanner check for photoshop work etc. Far too many people done enough shady stuff for them to put all these checks in place so it makes life tougher for us honest folks!

Once you move from IP1 to NA, its safe to assume that your R10 is complete.

Moving from NA to IP2 depends on various factors. At an average it could be between 20 to 45 days. However it also depends on security checks. There are folks stuck on that for 1 year too. But in 80% cases, its sorted within 45 days and currently the average is around 30 days as per tracker.

The hustle is real !

My application moved from NA to IP1 to NA in the past 24 hrs.

I'm hoping to see the NA to IP2 in the next 30 days, and hope for the best.

when does A11.2 happen during NA or ip2?
 
I dont know which stage is this...probably in couple of days BCG will change from N.A to IP1..

Am worried for 1 thing my brother was banned in canada for misrepresentation...this happened in 2010. Therez a question i guess which asks abt any family member listed in ur app even been inadmissible i ticked no. Coz brother is nt listed in my app..i have to only consider my immediate family right??

Your brother has to be clearly mentioned in the application. There is a section where they clearly ask you to list down your siblings and immediate family members who are not part of the application. Thats where you put in your brothers name. DId you put your brothers name there? Your brother being not admissible is no reason for you to be inadmissible. But lying is a good reason for you also to get banned if you misrepresent and that's clearly what you did. You are actually making things worse for you by lying since sooner or later, they can find out. Why put yourself in the same position as your brother?
