Guys,
My background check changed from " Not Applicable" to "We are processing your application and will send you a message once your background check starts" today. It however changed from "We are processing your application and will send you a message once your background check starts" to " Not applicable"
What is the implication of this?

Guys, I also got a reply just now for my visa office enquiry! However my reply is different from jpv2212!

Maybe they sort out based on your country of residence or NOC or some other factor. We need to analyse more cases to figure out.

You need to enjoy the summer in your country. You are never going to experience 36 °C once you move to Canada.
Im enjoying it alright hehe  its hot but humid, the worst combination. And the MOSQUITOS. Ah, the summer just started! Good think Im going to Hungary on Friday so there are at least some mountains overthere, which means - a breeze :)

Let me search the forum for this. Some folks get Ottawa, some go to LVO after CIO, some file stay till the end at CIO. Or I want to know if Im still in the first stage at CIO.

Hehe Im getting lazy, its 36 °C overhere!! :( I really need to get in Canada ASAP. :)

You should come to Dubai then. Its a very pleasant 46 Degrees today! LOL

OMG. I think with so many asphalt and concrete it gets 46 here too! And they cut all the trees in the cities, very smart. They are natural air conditioners.

I'm also wondering why there's the difference.
Also how & what difference does it make if the VO are different.

Got a reply from IRCC to my query asking about my visa office.

Hello xxxxxxxxxxxx,

I can confirm that your application is at our office (CPC-Ottawa) and is being processed as per our regulatory timeline. Please note that we cannot confirm when your file will be ready for finalization.

We do not require any information from you at the present time. An officer will contact you if further information is required. Please ensure when submitting documents that they are still valid and will not expire within six (6) months as this could delay your application.

Please consult our website for information regarding approximate processing times

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/index.asp

The processing times provided on the website represent the average time it took officers to render a decision in the past and do not guarantee future processing times. Your patience is very much appreciated.
Received the same reply couple of days back.

50-60% of FSW-O applicants are from Indian and I guess NDVO is always overloaded with work. Processing some Indian applications might be a move to balance the workload.
