FSW or QSW application by refugee claimant

Any refugee claimant who is living in Canada, and eligible for Federal or Quebec skilled worker. can he apply for Federal or Quebec skilled worker from inside Canada before decision of his refugee claim.

You can't apply from inside Canada. You would need to leave Canada and apply from outside of Canada.

But what if someone applied to FSW from USA and after a few months, he or she just walked into Canada and apply refugee status?

According to the new rule passed on August 2nd 2018, is there any change in QSW Program? Will refugees be able to apply inland for QSW Program?

You cannot apply for any other streams pending a final decision on your refugee claim. Should you choose to withdraw your refugee claim, a departure order will be issued to you meaning you must voluntarily leave Canada within 30 days. If you fail to comply with the order, the departure order will automatically become deportation order whereby CBSA will issue a nationwide immigration warrant for your arrest and forcefully remove you from Canada once your are under its custody.

I applied for PR through spousal sponsorship in Canada when I was waiting for the decision on my refugee claim. Had no problems at all and now I am a PR.

I WAS NOT the principal applicant in the refugee application though! My mom was.
