I got an update for my application from MP
Eligibility: Ongoing
Security: Complete
Criminality: In progress
Medical: Renewed

AOR: 5th Dec, 2020
Edmonton VO
FSW inland with inland dependent

Congrats! Security check is usually the one that takes longest!

What did you say in the email to your MP? And how long did it take them to respond?
I sent an email to my MP two weeks ago, but haven’t received any response yet.

Also, my medical status changed to “Expired” again, i.e. it says "You don't need a medical exam" in my profile. This is so frustrating

March 03 afternoon first confirmation email responded same day
March 04 second portal confirmation credential email, submitted the declaration and uploaded the photo same day
March 07 e-COPR for me and my spouse ready to download thru portal
Awaiting PR cards
Indeed this forum was really helpful and I wish everyone will be getting COPR very soon.
Congratulations, thanks for info sharing.

I just received an email saying your application for permanent residence has been approved!

Application submit date: 22 July 2020
Office: Ottawa

They asked me for a new police certificate last week on 1 March, and now that I'm checking the account, it still says your action is required and we need additional documents to continue processing your application.
(I haven't uploaded a new police certificate yet).

I really don't understand them!!!!
I received the police certificate as well on March 1 and resubmitted my police certificate from China and USA, hopefully I will get approved very soon as well.

I finally got a update on my pr application to my mail Id just now. When I logged into the portal the document for pr confirmation has come only for my minor son, how do we respond back for sharing the log in details to create the portal? Do I need to wait for a different mail to come to
respond to?

Thank you. It’s quite confusing though. Do they send it separately for each dependent? Anyone who recently got how did you respond to the mail to create portal log in?

Firstly congratulation Li. You’ve been waiting for this moment as I and everyone do. Regarding the confirmation email; it’s just one email. Good luck for everyone.

Just Received "Information letter" for the dependent.
It says the following :
"We are at the end of the process for your application for permanent residence in Canada. Since the beginning of the pandemic in March 2020, IRCC has had to stop in-person services to protect the health and safety of clients and employees. You can now confirm your permanent residence (PR) status through a new and secure PR Portal without an in-person interview. You, as a client, will have to access the portal yourself. If you’re a representative receiving this message, please forward this email to the clients you represented for their PR application until they were approved. Using the PR portal is the equivalent of going to an in-person landing interview – only the applicant can do so."

This only came for the dependent.
Will we get separate notification for the Primary applicant ?
Also how do I reply to this ?

Thanks. I think I have to wait for it then. I got a mail saying we have sent you a message . When I logged into portal I saw the portal confirmation document for my son attached. It was dated March 7th. It came from Etiobicoke Vo, though my Vo was Ottawa. I had received a ghost update on March 3rd and today another. But yet to get the confirmation mail which I can respond to for creating portal log in.

Please keep me posted as soon as you get any other email/notification.

Sure, will update. It’s the content in that information letter which we should be getting as a portal mail to respond to. I will wait for today and I am hoping a mail should come from the pr confirmation portal which we can respond to. Which Vo did you receive the information letter?
