CPC in Mississauga
The case processing centre in Mississauga processes applications:

• applications for permanent residence from protected persons and Convention refugees in Canada
• to sponsor family members living in Canada and abroad.

I really don’t think so. The number of refugee applications isn’t so high and I remember reading a report they processed 75 percent of those applications in a week. I feel it’s more owing to most cec applications being in Ottawa VO

I really don't understand what they are doing. Why not assign FSWs to other VOs, if it is really too busy.

Ottawa is not the only VO that deals with PR applications. I can't think of any other VO that is processing applications faster than Ottawa. In general the processing is extremely slow and until IRCC shifts their focus from CEC to other immigration streams, all VOs are equal when it comes to processing FSWs

Congratulations. I hope I'm next since I also received a ghost update yesterday. May this nightmare of covid delays finally be over for all of us.

If you don't mind me asking, how did you know you were approved? Did you get an email for the COPR? Did they invite you for an interview for a "virtual landing"?
