Lot of movement is happening for FSW outland and CEC.... Are we so unlucky....
No, we're not. Here's some optimism for you ;D

The reason we see a lot of movement in those streams is that they're huge. Most applicants to EE are FSW - O or CEC. FSW Inland in particular is pretty small, so don't expect much activity.

Based on what I've seen on the tracker, the only difference between us and CEC when it comes to processing times is that our medicals take an extra month to pass for some reason. I wouldn't worry too much. You think we're unlucky? Go look at the PNP Inland thread.

The problem with that is that there's so few of us. ;D

Ours is probably the smallest stream.
True that! But whoever we have should probably get all approvals together.

Do you know what the timeline is after application goes to NA from IP(1)?

1. Earlier trend was 30-35 days (NA to PPR). Some CECs also said their application turned to IP(2) in exactly 1 month since changing to NA or some said in 14 days. But Mohit's IP(2) (13th Apr) happened in 8 days since NA (April 5th).

2. Secondly, the overall trend for FSW-I is average of 96 days total from eAOR (Mauritius 96, Pooplio - 96, Mohit's 97 days). However, most of the Jan applicants have crossed that deadline (like Ricky - 100+ days). This one had been the most consistent.

3. Additionally, I have read and noticed that IRCC sets an approximate final due date 3 months from eAOR, so in my case the final due date should be May 8th. Mohit's deadline was April 11th but his BC changed to IP(2) on the 13th (due to the holidays) and he got his PPR on 18th.

Summary: there is no bloody consistency in timelines except that its done in 96 days, which is again proven wrong in Ricky's plus other fellow applicants' case.

So frustrating to map out a trend line. :-\ ::) :p

I agree with you..there is no clear trend now.. The PR processing is getting slow.. especially for FSW inland applicants, it is getting much slower.

Well, there's also some variation based on how simple\complicated your case is. If I remember correctly, Mohit said his case was straightforward.

There really isn't enoguh data to make that claim. Most FSW - I applications take 100+ days. Check the tracker.

That's not true Mr. Pandey, if you look at the ones since Dec 1st 2016 the average is 95.66 days. In fact, all are under 97 days except for two of them (alexp in 115 days because he/she was asked for an RCMP request and Military records and Harmanknl's took 104 days).

And yes, of course it depends on the background/travel history, etc. but once it turns to NOT APPLICABLE and the file is transferred to a VO, then they all are more or less straightforward!

Question is why are they stalling now! Only thing I can think of, is that they are doing it in batches and are waiting for enough applicants to reach the VO, or, that they are clearing the CEC lot this week. God knows.

May first week should be us, is my prediction. 8)

Yes, I think the batch thing might be true. If you notice, most Jan applicants are in the final stage (BG: NA). But yeah, it's pointless to speculate.

Precisely! At the same time if it is a batch thing, then why did they only approve Mohit!? I think its more to do with either clearing the CEC apps first OR waiting for the security intelligence clearance from a third-party organization. The latter makes more sense.

I just like to have a timeline/trend/pattern to satiate my OCD desires. Haha. :p

We'll just wait for the downpour of updates, hopefully soon. ;)

My BC has been in IP2 for more than a month now  I was asked to pay RFPR on March 16th and I paid right away ! It is very strange as usually right after the second IP the PPR comes in a few days.. Starting to feel worried.

Finally!! Congrats, Ricky.

I think there's a thread for that and it looks like it takes 1-2 weeks for passport stamping. http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/passport-to-cpc-ottawa-april-2017-t483748.150.html

Please keep us posted.. :)
