FSW file moved to New York consulate ?

Hi Guys,

I am mailing from Chennai, india.
I recieved a mail saying, my file has been moved to New york for processing ?
Can I know the reason and also is there any one like the same as mine.

Jan 2009 applied from Canada
Apr 2009 AOR from Canada Immi Office.
Dec 2009 Mail saying your file moved to Newyork Canadain consulate.

Please share your views.

Mine was moved too, it was earlier at Buffalo and the communication said its to enable faster processing. I would be happy that it moved because it was stuck for a long time, so the movement means someone has looked at your case and send it ahead for procesisng.

In our case after it moved to NY office, about a month later we received medical request.

Oh you are fast. Mine was moved on August 11, 2009 and it takes about 100 days to receive the medical request on Dec 3 2009. Not sure though. I did send IELTS results, updated employment letters after that.Maybe that is the reason it is so delay?

I have applied my initial assement to Sydney office Nova Scotia in Sep 09, now Nov 09 i got my email reply saying that sent me all the doucments for further processing. I am working in Canada as Temparary foreign worker, now i have to sent all the document to Buffalo office OR

I would like to know regarding PCC and IELTS certificate i have to sent origirnal to them ?

Please advise me, i am going to sent all my documents in 1 or 2

Yes, You need to send original IELTS report and PCC.

Hi huanhuan19

You have mentioned that it took 100 days to get the medical request after your file has been transfered to Newyork from Buffalo. Please let me know what was the date mentioned in the Medical form letter.
My application is transfered to Newyork on Jun 25th and the status changed to "In Process" on jun 16th. Still i didnt receive my medical request, so curious to know the time stamp in the medical letter
