Hi everybody,,,
i have a big problem,my IELTS test results are ;
lis---------5
speak-------7
reading----6
writing----6.5
I think that i have to make it again ,but the next test on 27th April and the results will be avilable 13 days later. so i will miss the 4th of may to submit my application.
Any one can advice me what i have to do?

can i send the old result with the application and the receipt for the next test Or CIO will not accept it.
please,guys help me

Hi Zaza,

You cannot send it with the old, they will reject it. i suggest you book yourself for the April sitting, yes you wont get the results for the May 4th opening but with this ECA issue, maybe most people wont even be able to make the May 4th date. And depending on What you NOC code is the cap might not get filled in the first few weeks. Just ensure that if you do take the IELTS again you DO get at least 6 in each area.

Zaza
I agree with island babe dont worry about it I am sure most persons wont be able to submit on May 4th as the will have to wait on the educational assessment as well so just go and book for the test again

when eca and noc will be declare? :o

I think that CIC is playing a cruel game with potential applicants.

CIC will probably release the information on April 30, 2013........ afterall, they did say they would release it in April....................April 30th is still in April.

Very thoughtless indeed. They do not have our well being or best interest heart.

hello everyone, my IELTS results are this speaking 7.5 reading 7.5 listening 7 writing 6. my question is is someone allowed to apply for provincial nominee program and the fsw program concurrently? as i have recently applied for QSW program and am hoping to applyy for the fsw too if the rules allow it.

There are no rules against it.

great my friend! then I'd wait for the minister to announce the remaining procedures, and voila! I'd be on board

Hi All

Please note that language requirements are based on CLB. You will have to convert your IELTS scores to CLB. In general, if you have scored decent on IELTS, on CLB same score will be higher.

As per CIC website
As of July 1, 2012, most applicants for semi- and low-skilled occupations under the PNP program will be required to first take a language proficiency test and obtain a minimum standard of CLB 4 across all four categories: listening, speaking, reading and writing.

The CLB is the national standard used in Canada for describing, measuring and recognizing the English language proficiency of adult immigrants and prospective immigrants for living and working in Canada. It provides a descriptive scale of communicative proficiency in English as a second language, expressed as benchmarks or reference points.

Hi guys,

I have a question regarding Education. I have done my 4Yrs B. Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering.

Is that a professional a degree??

Will I awarded 23 point? [Master's level or professional degree: 23 points]
OR
21 Point? [Three-year or longer post-secondary credential: 21 points]

Thanks in advance.
