Hi...

Add ko lang po... in my case (at that point full docs were already received by CEM):

When it said "Your application was reviewed and we started processing on <insert date here>" then it meant an MR was next or a DM (this one's normally a rejection) and they have opened the files and analyzed them.

When it says "....are pending review", it literally means pending review. They haven't opened your files yet for review. Just received them but not yet started working on them to make a decision on whether to send you the MR/the next step. If you get my meaning.

Sana po nakatulong. hehe!

Do you think there should be a specific date as to when it was put in process? Although I hope and pray that yours is really In Process. Guys... how can we say if our application is really In process?

Let's hope so. Based on the 2nd AOR, it took starlight 6 mos.

Regarding the comment above, yes i believe the VO as already opened my docs and i assume i passed on the PSDEC (paper screening decision) stage before the Manager's Check i enclosed in my single package for the payment of my dependents were already encashed by the Manila Embassy.

What do you think guys??? Yes, it took 6 months before my Ecas changed to In Process..
Did the VO missed to write on the details the date? it was only yesterday morning when i found it in process. The last time it was RBVO is on February 14 at 11:30pm...

NEW CHANGES FOR FSW COMING THIS YEAR

Posting some important parts of Kenny interview.

In order to enable a more successful integration for skilled immigrants, Kenney said Ottawa is set to change the “points grid” of the immigrant selection system to bring in newcomers who don't have university degrees or language proficiency, but whose job skills are in demand in Canada.
The federal government also plans to further raise the language requirements for those who apply to immigrate here with professional designations such as doctors, engineers, accountants and scientists to ensure their success in the country.
Kenney said he hoped to make those changes later this year.

“We need to be more flexible . . . skilled trades people who don't have university degrees or who have very limited English or French language proficiency typically cannot make it through the points grid, but we have a huge and growing need for skilled trade people,” said Kenney.

“Rather than locking them out of the skilled worker program, I'm looking at ways we can accommodate people who don't have university degrees, who don't have full language proficiency to come through that program.”
Currently, a skilled immigrant applicant is assessed based on education levels, language skills and work experience among other factors, and must earn 67 points to qualify for the federal skilled worker program.

“Foreign trained professionals find the biggest barrier to employment is limited language proficiency, so we may look at additional ways to encourage foreign trained professionals with high levels of English or French proficiency,” said Kenney.

He said the aim is to “select the people who are most likely to succeed and give them the tools to succeed once they get here.”

Yes i know every body want to know the source..Please read the full story..

Congrats sa mga naging IN PROCESS na! :-)

Madami dami din palang mga In process na pero no feedback pa rin from embassy.
Sana makareceive na tayo ng medical request. :-)

Sino kaya ulet ang makakareceive ng medical request from this thread?

My app was for FSW NOC38 so am not sure if the statements inside my ecas link would apply to you guys too. Ganito kasi sya noon when I didn't get the MR yet, just submitted the full docs to CEM. This was what's indicated inside the IN PROCESS link once clicked:

"We received your application for permanent residence on mmddyyyy.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on mmddyyyy. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Your application and supporting documents were received by the Manila office. They are pending review.

We transferred your application to the Manila office on mmddyyyy. The Manila office may contact you.
"

And then nung malapit na MR ko or nung dumating sya and I checked the ecas again, nadagdagan the above statements with this:
"Your application was reviewed and we started processing on mmddyyyy".

And this to me meant the distinction between the page stating "....pending review" and then later adding "...was reviewed and we started processing on mmddyyyy" was that in the latter, the CEM V.O. has started analyzing/verifying your docs to make the MR (congrats, you passed) or DM (rejection at this stage) decision on your app, not just received/opened them and set aside on his workload queue for review (hence "pending review").

Then less than two weeks after the date stated in that latter sentence, I received the MR via snail mail.

But since nag-change ng FSW1 policy si CIC, so I don't know if ganon pa rin internal process in CEM. If it doesn't apply pala, then ignore my input. Lol!

Hi badtzmaru,
My ecas changed to in process last Feb 15 and when i clicked on the details, it is the same as the information you highlighted in green above. May i know how lang nag stay ng ganun ang status mo until nag add sila ng another line for this info “those'Your application was reviewed and we started processing on mmddyyyy”?
