Dont worry july4, ako din submitted my full docs on Aug 19 and received my 2nd AOR on August 26 but still RBVO pa rin ang status ko... sobrang tagal na talaga ang paghihintay ko..

hi starlight.. may kadamay pala ako... ang hirap maghintay... ang daming opportunities ang napapalampas dahil sa paghihintay... sana naman mag in process man lang status natin...

correct ka dyan july4...andami ko din na missed out na opportunities kasi open din sa office ang pag apply ko sa canada.. pareho tayo ng NOC...grabe sana man lang may update na sa status natin...with family ka din ba?

yes... i have 2 teenagers... seaman ang husband ko and he's been here for seven months na dahil sa kahihintay ... kung umalis pala siya after namin mag submit ng docs pauwi na sana ulit siya in a few months... nakaipon pa sana... dati kc two months lang may MR na... what happened kaya at biglang bumagal sila...

yes... i have 2 teenagers... seaman ang husband ko and he's been here for seven months na dahil sa kahihintay ... kung umalis pala siya after namin mag submit ng docs pauwi na sana ulit siya in a few months... nakaipon pa sana... dati kc two months lang may MR na... what happened kaya at biglang bumagal sila...

oh no! that's too disgusting to know...pero ako din nag me-maintain ng account for the settlement requirement nilafor 7 months now..and im paying the interest every month hanggat hindi pa sila nag re-reply...sobrang bigat na talaga 'to. yung iba nga naka receive na ng update sa status nila..waiting na lang matanggap nila ang med request via mail..anak ko 2 pre-school sila..mag co-close na ang skul year pero wala pang update..then malapit na naman opening of classes paano na mga anak natin...mahirap mag decide sa ngayon.. Lift up na lang natin kay Lord ito..

talking about opportunities....my wife will have to forego a 1 month training opportunity in Switzerland because of our pending application. we are currently waiting for passport request...so we are expecting it to come out in 3 months time since we finished our medicals. at the moment, her office does not have any idea of the timelines of our application hence difficult to decide. its unfair to the company if she decides to go through it coz there are approvals and budget to be considered. on the other hand, what if for some reason we get rejected (hope not) or further delays happen. we are all in the same boat in terms of planning for this year. seems like we need to put things on freeze first.

hope we get the response soon...

I made a good decision to go back to US for job relocation w/o waiting for my PPR or else til now still in manila waiting & missed a lot of opportunities. I will just submit my PP fr here once CIC ask for it. Thanks for this forum bec I was aware of the timelines and sentiments of other members. Planning to stay & live in Canada 2 yrs fr the time I rcv my visa but I will land in canada & stay for about a wk before my medical expire.

Goodluck to all... just continue praying for a positive results of our applications.

To think nagbabayad ka ng interest monthly sa hindi gumagalaw na pera. always remember of the bank secrecy law, only the courts can access ur bank accounts if needed. the embassy cannot.

Huh??!! If this is the thing shobott2011 i have wasted so much (very huge amount) money just to maintain an account. My point for maintaining it to have an actual account of the settlement fund required by the embassy.

Any members here who can clearly explain the concept of Settlement fund? It is one of the requirements we have submitted in the VO right? along with it, we need to submit a notarized copy of the bank statement as proof. Anyone who has an idea on how the embassy conduct a verification of the bank statement submitted to them by the applicant?

Mind you guys, i've been paying for the interest of the amount borrowed for almost 7 months now.. OMG!!! :-

That's my point of maintaining the account. Once i stop paying the monthly interest, the financing company will immediately close the account. They will not allow me to continue that account after they get their money in full.
