Hi all,

I am seeking expert opinion.

I applied as a single (not married) applicant and on May 26, 2016 did my medical paid RPRF, CIC update on Jun 04, 2016. Then got married and added my spouse on June 24, paid CAD 550, send marriage certificate, wedding photos, spouse academic and professional documents and everything else is needed to Singapore visa office.

Since then, there is no activity at CIC's end.

So, my questions are

1) Is it normal or I supposed to receive some kind of updates that my spouse is added with my application?

2) When I can expect to receive my PPR.

3) When we can expect to receive MR for my spouse.

Dear Experts,

I need your valuable comments on my below situation.

1. Appplication Filed for FSW14 (NOC1114) - June 2014.
2. Positive Eligibility Review (PER) - October 2014.
3. Acknowledgement Of Receipt (AOR) - November 2014.
4. 30 day procedural fairness on Work Experience - January 2015.
5. Sent reply regarding Work Experience - February 2015.
6. DNA Sample request received from SGVO for me, my father and
my paternal Aunt (claimed 5 points during application) - September 2015.
7. Received schedule to provide DNA Sample in front of Visa officer - May 2016.
8. Received Result - August 2016.

Currently in MyCIC the term "Scheduling an Interview" has been updated as "Complete". What does this mean??? do I have to go through an interview or it has been done during my DNA Sample collection???

Want to ask one silly question. Did they send MR mail to your email box directly or they send mail like below and after logged in myCIC, you found it. Could you please answer.

Haha no prob! They did send the detailed instructions for MR thru email. I just linked my application to myCIC when I read it here in the forum.

Isti84, i understand exactly what u re saying.Verification of my bank statement took place 15th july(i got a debit alert from my bank) and that same day i got a mail mycic that my application status has been updated,but i login and found nothing new.I raised a CSE to IRCC to know if i missed out on any correspondence but they replied and said once my application status changes then the mail is sent.
