4. NO doc request/ pf / additional information as of now

Yes, Here I am

1. We received your application for permanent residence on June 30, 2014.
2. We started processing your application on October 21, 2014.

No MR yet, but I have received an email from CIC saying that :

"Please be advised that your application is still in progress. We will advise you in writing of any additional documentary requirements which we may have or of any information or results which we have for you.
In the meantime, your patience is appreciated as we continue processing your application."

I don't know whether I should be happy or sad about this ???

Ladies & gentlemen,

I found this forum just last week and there are a lot of helpful info here. As there still be a lot to digest, I may miss a lot that have already been discussed somewhere. If you don't mind I have a question to ask. I submitted my application in Nov2014 and got an email from Singapore office confirming the application in Jun2015. In Dec2015 the Canada office couriered me a letter asking my family to do DNA test. I agreed to that and contacted the assigned lab for the test preparation but over 4 months passed since then without further instruction from the officer. I tried emailing them but had no response. If there is anyone who had gone through a DNA test before I would need to hear an advice.

Thank you!
Jacky

Guys, do we get confirmation of sent PCC and fees from CIC? do they update like MR or send any email? please suggest.

Thanks for your reply mskr. I notice that you have MR on 4 April but sample collection on 12 April. Did CIC notify you to do MR and sample collection around the same time?

No, its not same time.
My first medical was on 4th April 2015
and DNA sample collection is on 12 April 2016.
Then 2nd Medical (as 1st medical validity expired) is on this 7th May 2016.

I see. So the request for DNA request just came after CIC received your medical results the first time. And after the DNA results are OK, they ask you to do medical check again as it exceed 6 months. Thank you.

It depends on the test laboratory you chose and no. of person under test. But minimum around CAD 500.

Re: FSW 2014 SINGAPORE VISA OFFICE -assistance needed

Did your mail come from Tom Ritcher? or from whom?

hi am new here,

I got a mail from the Singapore office this morning. There they mentioned that -----In my application i indicated that all my various jobs in banking have been those where i performed duties as set out in Canada’s National Occupational Classification (NOC) – code 1114. That unit group – other financial officers – defines those who perform specialist financial work (inspectors, for example) but also financial planners. The assessing officer asked me to explain in greater detail "why I believe I perform the duties in this group". If, for example, they asked if I have a licence or designation to sell securities or assist in the preparation of personal financial plans then it will be to my benefit to provide details on this work and any documentation confirming my statements. In addition, if I perform other duties in Treasury (that is where most of my experience is) that may be covered in other NOCs then it may be to my advantage to explain how such duties would equate to those covered in other NOCs – code1112, for example.

They asked me to reply to this mail within 30 days of the date received. -----

HOW SHOULD I RESPONSE? I mean what documents/statement will help me to satisfy them?

Alhamdulillah.. got MR, PCC and RPRF yesterday.
