Have you already renounced your Spore PR yet?
If i were you, i wouldnt renounce the SPR just in case the situation in Canada is not going anywhere better, you still can manage to come back to Spore again

Correct .. Dont renounce SPR at the moment. On your renewal, if you are out of SG for a long time, they will not renew and then can withdraw CPF.

Anyone here who are both Spore PR and at same time applying for Canadian PR as well?

How to get the Spore PR extended if the person isnt in Spore physically and does not work for Spore company?
Can a personal CPF top-up by S$100 a month be a good idea to extend the REP? any idea?

I am nearing my 4th year of SPR and the REP will expire in Sep 2017.

My plan is to move to Canada after successfully extending my REP into the 2nd 5-year extension.
REP can be extended as early as 3 months before it expires. If thats the case, I will be able to renew it online at ICA by June 2017.

Havent renounce. Plan to renounce once settled over there.

My concern was when I transfer the funds later (after cancellation) , will I be liable to pay the tax for the amount.

Should we pay tax for the cpf amount once we try to transfer funds to Canada after the cancellation?
What is your view on this?

Based on Canadian Tax calculation, you are not required to pay tax if already taxed in another country.
But from what I analysed, CPF amount is not taxed in SG.

What if we declare this amount also during the first entry? Is there any options like that?
