Sorry guys for making you upset but I think those 2nd lines are nothing but a new update of their database where 2nd line means date of application received by Visa Office nothing else.

The reason I am thinking this is today I got my GCMS note which it's clearly mentioned that they haven't started processing my application yet. Where as I got 2nd line update like you guys last week:

1. We received your application for permanent residence on December 3, 2014.

2. We started processing your application on March 20, 2015.

If you have received GCMS today then it was applied at the beginning of August or end of July.. did you get 2nd line update before applying for GCMS or last week with all applicants...?

If 2nd line updated before your GCMS request.. then your 2nd line is nothing....

but if 2nd line updated last week with all applicants.. then some hope is alive with your application processing.. they might start processing...

your GCMS is generated 1 month earlier though u got it recently.

Ur SLU is given in last week. So not necessary that it is the right reflection.

Babu bhai,

Do you have any idea what is the ecas status now! How many lines are showing!!!

no bro, no idea...lets wait and see what happens next...hope something will happen positive by october

Well it's true that I applied for GCMS just one month ago (August 1), but look carefully what I found in my GCMS note:

Eligibility: Not Started
Security: Not Started
HIRV:
Criminality: Not Started
Org Crime:
Medical: Not Started
Misrepresentation:
Others Req:
Final:

This means as of 1 August they haven't touched my file, the last date I can see in the note is my AOR date. Nonetheless I had raised a CSE when I applied GCMS as well (beginning of august) and they had replied Your file is in a queue awaiting final review It's quite unrealistic that they have started processing my application in last two weeks adding a 2nd line update to my AOR date.

I think the best way to habituate with our situation is by forgetting that we ever applied to Canada and get busy with our everyday work :(

hi,
i have an inquiry regarded the Travel information which is asked to submit again as Doc. Update.
my original country is Iran but i have lived in Malaysia from six years ago which i considered as residence country. i traveled a couple times to the origin country include a 9 month stay but basically the duration of my trips was less than one month.
in IMM5562 asked to list all trips we have taken outside the country of origin or of residence in last ten years.

I only listed all trips exclude the trips from origin to residence and Vs. is that wrong? if so what should I do now?

Dear senior members

I got MR and RPRF requests on 04AUG15. We did medical on 8th and RPRF was received by them on 13th as per DHL record.

No update about medical received. ....... or anything.....

Has anyone experience the same? What may I expect next? Am I going to receive an email about their decision?
How long it may take?

Thanks in advance for reply.....

Hi Moin,

Dont worry, you will get the positive response sooner. Meantime, can you update your timelines in your profile?

Yes it seems so. Lets hope that the one they hire is skilled enough and can help speedup processing times.

My four lines have been converted into 6 lines just now. Yet to receive "Medical results Received" in ECAS.

our cases is processing by SGVO, even they hire more people in Bangladesh which is nothing helpful to us.

If you read the description of the role, you'll see that it clearly mentions about supporting immigration and citizenship functions of Singapore Visa Office.

So, if they can find a capable person in Bangladesh, it will speed up verification, which in turn will speedup processing of applications.
