In this forum who are silent member/not member also getting more information from each of forum member from different experience and knowledge.

Many times and there are lot of posts in this forum about the social or professional profile like LinkedIn verification for employment assessment. You are well knows that LinkedIn is the biggest professional platform where many employees and employers are involved to share their info.

However for your case, if you have your LinkedIn account and are not updated match with your current status and also your past employment history then CIC/VO may make questions because once they find any doubt about any application from their assessment stage then they need to go for third party assessment authority and that authority used to submit their primary assessment result to VO and based on their send their fairness letter to applicant.

Now you have to clarify of your variation between your employer letter and also your duty from your social info from various sources. Even they can go though your company's colleagues profile to judge you or your company for activities.

As I informed you from my last post that you should send all of your updated employment job duty with your past employment letter. If you can't meet from your last employment letter where your eligibilities points claimed from your application then VO might reject your application.

Hope you can manage those from my above small knowledge.

I know linkedin is a big source. but having said that, those open source can be fake too. if i was submitting fake documents, why won't i update my linkedin too considering the fact that linkedin could be checked. linkedin or fb are not reliable and should not be taken into account for any rejection. The only reason i have is I dont update linkedin as i dont need it to. What else i can say here. I am going to ask director of the company to write a letter of verification and send it directly to VO. I am failing to understand if linkedin is more impt or a letter from a director.

Linkedin or FB is not the right option for rejection. But that is one of cause of their doubt for verification and applicants need to send more papers related further requirement from VO.

If your company's director letter can relay of your all duties then VO will reassess your application. Don't forget to send your director's details with that letter. VO might contact with your director or office site visit.

But I am astonished to see your post and thinking how you processed your file with this kind of agent.

Dont worry at all. Its normal scenario. Mine LinkedIn and FB account also checked on February and I found it in my GCMS note.

Just send
1. Updated Employment letter
2. Payslip
3. Appointment letter
4. Business card of your Manager who signed in your JD letter when applied.

Send the Hard Copy to SGVO

and you can also send scan copy through CSE.

Just think.... How awful it could be if CIC mentioned the profile page of FB or LinkdIn as 'Mandatorty' in the Document Checklist... we could avoid sending employment letter twice.... ::) ::)

Yesterday got gcms note, strange thing is, they didnt add spouse ielts point which was 6 in each section. And also in ecas, I have found that they added mailing address, is that a good sign? But still no second line update. Thanks

Problem in ourselves/attitudes. Wherever we go, we get same quality--shopping, pay huge amt, get fake brand, in school(so called reputed English Medium school)will teach ur kid- "what are telephone", while actually asking for definition!, pay huge for best services, get this type of service from these so called consultant. We, all applicants know our ppls mentality, that why trying to migrate to get rid of these ridiculous mentality/atitudes...all of you have different opinion regarding migration, if you try to find out reason, there are thousands.....though Canada is also a place where all are human like us, who are not God, but they have strict laws, we also have here, but, merely obeyed/ followed......me too, approached to a consultant, but after paying file opening fee, i back off, as they were asking me to do everything by myself....so why would i pay them, just to arrange the application in order.??
