If I go for a long leave (5-6 months) from my employment due to an exam, Do I still need to inform CIC? Seniors and experience members are humbly requested to advice.

I applied for changing my mailing address before 2 weeks by CSE according to the suggestions and advise from our forum mates.
Today SGVO has changed my address in ECAS. No second line yet.

Simple. Scroll up and see the link named Profile. Click on it. Another page comes. On the new page look along the left side for Forum Profile Information. That lets you put all your info.

I dont know how to have a profile like almost all the members have next to their names. Anyhow, here is my timeline:

received MR mail last night, lawyer informed me at noon, not sure abt RPRF as couldn't talk with him much due to meeting, will visit him tomorrow and if got RPRF request will update accordingly.....

The fact that you have been waiting for over year without a second line update, could mean that either VO forgets your case (unlikely) or your case needs more time for assessment (likely). In the former case, if you haven't contacted the VO you are encouraged to do so to know where your application is at. In the latter case, best way is to get a GCMS and be patient. If you withdraw the application from FSW now and switch to EE, I don't think you can run away from the same due diligence from CIC. And regarding the fee, from what I know, there won't be a refund.
