I don't think frequent overseas trips is a major cause for the delay. Let me share my story. I travel abroad on a monthly basis due to a nature of my work mainly to the EU countries, USA, and some Asian countries. I applied for FSW on May 12, 2014 and got the VISA along with COPR on Dec 12, 2014. I personally think staff shortage combined with their workload considering FSW 2013, FSW 2014 and now Expess Entry play a big role on such delay. There's almost nothing we can do to accelerate their process besides keeping up our good faith. Cheers.

Good observation, SGVO has become very slow in processing FSW 2014 since April 2015 when they got busy with Express Entry and others...........

Dear Seniors:

I need your support to finalize my travel decision. First of all I want complete my landing formalities in the month of September 2015 and I want to come back BD. After 1 year I want to leave BD for permanently as I have some urgent family issues.

Few queries:
1. I want to enter Toronto from New York by air; is there any problem?
2. Do I need to carry the entire settlement fund which I have disclosed to CIC at the time application? Since I am not going this time for 7-10 days?
3. Since I will be in Toronto for 7-10 days then how I will get the PR card?
4. What is the present rules to keep the PR status in terms of number of days to stay in Canada?

Please help me to take the best possible decision!!

I do hope this is true but per my GCMS notes, the only remaining thing is criminality check. I also observe that this check was assigned to RC-6262 which means the CPP office. So my application is not stuck at Sing but the CIC office. I might be wrong but that is my thinking. Others who have gcms can check this.
