Still no one can give some statistics on how long it takes for Singapore to return your passport after submission? Lets say you are already DM.

Thanks

It will be misleading your query if you not share your time-line and also where are you from.
Did you submit your passport in VFS from which country and where are you residing now.

This is the Singapore spreadsheet http://tinyurl.com/SGVO-FSW2014. You may find all the statistics there yourself. Do share you time line to be fair, buddy.

Dear Bhaskar brother,

Where did you see me blaming SA Associates? And When did I hide the actual reason for 5 years Ban? Did you really read my posts?
I appointed SA Associates as my immigration consultant and legal representative. My ECAS still shows their contact info.

Now for everything you mentioned translate the following quoted right from the letter: -

"As part of your application for permanent residence in Canada, received on May 7, 2014, you submitted your mailing address in Dhaka. This address belongs to an unsanctioned immigration consultant. You were advised of this concern by correspondence dated April 21, 2015 providing you with an opportunity to provide an explanation or to submit additional information. The information provided and received on May 21, 2015 did not satisfactorily address the concerns raised about your use of an undisclosed unsanctioned immigration consultant. I have now completed my review of your application. The evidence indicates that you have failed to disclose the use of an unsanctioned immigration consultant and continued to deny this once the issue was
raised."

Still I did not blame them, all I said was they communicated without my consent.

This mail clearly indicates that there is definitely a strong case in your favor Dhaka Vai - Please send a mail to Cohen and see how much they can support.

Regards,
Rick

There is nothing wrong done by you, you should involve Canadian lawyer and pursue your case. There is already one case who "Sharanjit" got rejected but appealed against that received MR or PPR recently. Any one else know him please share his contact details so that he could be contacted by him.

You were saying regarding your experience letter problem, did they also share about that in rejection letter?

Be a man and face the situation don't lose hope. There is great hope man!

Just to share a news!!!

One of my colleague brother has received his GCMS last week and came to know that he was sent a mail for providing further proof of his previous employment on 17th Mar'15. Unfortunately no such email was received by my brother( junk, spam all were checked). No DM observed yet in Ecas. He replied with all the necessary explanations and reason for delay.

So my suggestion for those who are waiting for long, book your GCMS at earliest to know about your file.

Regards, Ruafen

Dear all,

After waiting for more than one year much to my blown self received a rejection letter day before yesterday. If that was not enough it appears due to a communication between VO and my agency (SA Associates) that I was not aware of I now stand banned from entering Canada for 5 years. Kindly update my status in SS. I dont know what to say or write after this so I'll just stop here and wish all of you the very best of luck.

Really sorry to hear that.. but that SA associates should punished strictly :-X

As far as I knew only Bangladeshi July applicants are waiting for MR. But one of the applicants informed me over phone that his friends from Dhaka who served for GP & Robi got visa those are July applicants. Really disappointed.....:(

Hi Bro,

+1 for sharing this info.
Is there any possibilities to share about his time-line with his NOC. And also, has he applied by his own or through agent .. like SAA..

Dear Faysal vhai
your dream is not over yet. Immediately appoint a canadian lawyar based authorised agency for immigration. here the problem was as SA associate is not an authorised ICCRC registered company for canadian immigration. if CHC gets to know somehow that you are applying through unauthorised so called lawyers your case will be rejected and banned for 5 years. In Bangladesh only 1/2 company is registered to offer immigration service for Canada. They will use authorised representative forms for any case submitted via them.

So don't loose your hope. You can appeal and get back on track.

Hi Shahraz,

Since you wont look at the data yourself, as recommended by one of the other ppl, I have looked at the data for your request.

SGVO Decision Made to Passport returned times taken.

32 valid data points
Minimum Days - 0
Maximum Days - 45
Average - 12 days

Data points by nationality
Bangladesh 21
Canada 2
Malaysia 1
Singapore 4
Thailand 1
Vietnam 1

I hope this helps you.

Regards,
Rick

Aapoo - Please raise request for GCMS. If you have contact in Canada it will cost you $5, if not, you can use many of the 3rd parties like caipsnotes.com, gcmsnote.com etc. The notes show the process notes that CIC Officers have made on your case, points allocated, which process is not started, which is complete. Anything they found missing etc. I have asked for GCMS twice and made CSE a couple of times to make sure that any issue was resolved from my side. Even after I got Decision Made, I have once again ordered it so I know what is going on in final review. I dont want to take a chance.

Regarding your other question - I really dont know why some applications are stuck and others have gone through but I do think the local security checks in Singapore may be one of the reasons. Since I work in Singapore, I got a verification call and they asked for my company number etc to come to verification. My eligibility was passed the next day (I quote from 2nd GCMS notes).

The VO in Singapore is short staffed (my opinion), they have more applicants per officer and also other work to be done (again, my opinion) and the remote checks that they are carrying out in all the neighboring countries might delay their processes (Which you can see from their previous working timelines). I am not defending the VO, just stating my opinion of the reason for delays in SGVO (actually quite a few processed within the 12 month target they had. Definitely much more than previous years). Lets be patient - I know what you are going through - I went through it for myself and I feel the pressure of everyone of my brothers and sisters here on this thread who are not yet successfully through. I think (and hope & pray) that we will all be successful by the end of this year in reaching the shores of our dream country.

Best of Luck Aapoo!! ;) শুভেচ্ছা

Warm Regards,
Rick
