Hello, we also had our medical done here in SG and our VO is Manila. About the doc questions and test, i think that would be standard for everyone.

Then, they also told us that they will be sending the results of our meds electronically but we didn't send any copy of the receipt to Manila VO. Fullerton will be sending you an email update once they have already sent the med results to your VO. After a few days we got our third line in our ECAS.
Hi Kaythrielle,

Thank you for the reply +1 for you!!

May i know what was in the email from the Fullerton to you? Do they send any copy or any details of the medical test results to you in that email?

Dear Friends,

I am Colombo VO applicant. but since im living n working here in S'pore i did my MR yesterday in Fullerton medicals in Orchrad.

Just to make sure i did everything correctly, can anyone of you kindly share your Medical test experience (what test they did and what questions the doctor asked) here?

Im bit unsure of the process there because the medical center people didn't give me any medical report. They said they are going to upload everything electronically to the VO and asked me to send ONLY the medical test receipt (bill) to the Colombo VO.

Is this normal?

Thank you!

Dear Cooldim,

As per the consultancy, the hospitals will themselves send the documents to the Immigration council. Please share me the time duration, Do we have the flexibility of taking them in week-end? , cost for the Medical examination and the duration of test. It would be more helpful for us.

It's just a confirmation email that they have already sent the med results to your specific VO. No test results will be given to you.

HiV result will be given to you by fullerton together with the confirmation sheet.

Hi Nicksar,

I am not sure whether we can do the test on weekends bcos i did it on a week day. Half a day is enough. They will take ur blood n urine sample and do the eye test. And also check ur weight, height and pressure. After that they asked me to go to take Xray in another clinic at Shaw house which is nearby.they give a document to bring along. and after i came back from Xray the doctor did the physical checkup.
$208 for medical test and $69 for Xray. Pay seperately to each clinic.

Hope this asnswer helpful.

Dear Friends,

Does the Third Line Update (Medical results have been received) means that your medical results are good and you can consider yourself that Medicals requirements are Passed?? OR is it just simply means your VO have received your medical results ? And still there will be a chance of your medicals can get a refusal ?

They won't provide us the full report?

Thanks. Do they at least tell us how we do in general?

nope, they won't be providing the full report. looks like only the results for the HIV and Syphillis tests were given (sorry didn't see it at the bottom of our email). Also in our case, after the doctor has done our physical exam, we asked him directly about his findings. He told us not to worry, we are healthy and he didn't see any problem that will hinder our application. :)

Hi, what is this GCMS?
How can I get this & how long it takes?

Thanks

GCMS stands for Global Case Management. It is basically what Canadian Immigration and Citizenship department of Canada is currently using, computer systems for processing immigration / visa applications. You can get a few details about what's happening with your application.

I have applied my GCMS from https://www.gcmsnotes.com/ (cost me USD40 and it took 30 days to receive the report)

There are other 3rd parties/ websites, from where you can order GCMS, time and cost may vary.. Just google it..

But as you are a November applicant and received your AOR in March, I would suggest you to wait few more months. Apply it when you think that your case is taking more time than average applicants. Then you could find out what is the reason of the delay in process.

It means your medical results are ok for the immigration purpose and CIC has just approved it.

From where did you get the data? Is it reliable?

Sajib Vaia- Data is from Global SS. Its voluntarily added by people like you and me. I do not check for accuracy or reliability and take it at face value - no need to lie about dates for anyone waiting for Canada Visa... :)

Rick

Bros, do you know how to call SGVO to ask about the status of the application? My MR, RPRF and PCC reached the SGVO at the end of Nov 2014, but no update as of now (no 3rd line yet).

I am so worried so I just want to call them to check.

Thanks for the info!

I think there is no way to direct call to SGVO or they will not entertain you for that request.

One way is to put Case Specific Enquiry (CSE) to SG visa office regarding your application status (check CIC website). They normally take longer time to respond may be one month. Other way is to send GCMS notes which is quite handy in understanding what exactly your file has been (please read back few comments of this group which highlight how to put request for GCMS notes), this also take one month but the information you get, will be better satisfying to you rather than other ways.
