I'm a July applicant, send an e-mail to ask for application status to SVO, received response from Manila. Is that mean my application was transferred to this visa office/ anyone has this situation?

Hi, can i asked what is the response from Manila VO to your query? Have they specifically mentioned that your file is processing by them?

Babu vai,
Did u raise CSE to VO? Some June July applicants' file transferred to Manila? Your file might have gone there. My AOR is still pending. Pray for me.

You should raise a CSE too. AOR should not take over 45 days at current speed.

Bhaia,
I applied through a consultant. May I raise CSE by myself?

You should query your consultant first about AOR. You can raise CSE from the below link if you know about your UCI number or file number.

Thanks bro. +1 for the help. I made the CSE. I have given my email address instead of consultant's email. In which email they will reply and when?

The email that you entered in cse page. And reply time varies case by case basis.

I think SGVO Screw up BIG TIME. Many applicants from May to July are still pending and except few randomly chosen applicants from August to September, all are still pending. But the nightmare will start if this year's express entry start to put additional pressure on them. SGVO must have Que up long, their pace of work messed up great and now when they realized they can't manage it, they have started to transfer files to Manila VO. However, this is a good thing for applicants, since Manila VO on average officially takes 16 months to process a file. God knows whats going to happen. Im an August applicant without any idea what the hell is happening with my file. May the almighty bless us all with good news. Good luck all. :'( :'(

In order to avoid unnecessary delay/loss, I think SGVO should notify those whose files they transferred to the Manila Visa Office. From time to time, those applicants may need to send some correspondence, such as information on change in circumstances.

If they are not aware of the transfer, then they will be sending the updates on personal circumstances to the wrong visa office unknowingly!

Agreed

I called CIC last week and I was informed that my papers is still with them and have not been transferred to my VO yet. I requested SGVO but I'm not sure whether they'll assign us to SGVO or Manila VO because our daughter is in Manila. I noticed that most SGVO applicants receive AOR 1 month after PER, I received my PER on March 14 and to date no AOR yet (since my papers is still in Canada). Is this something to be worried about?

Thanks in advance to those who will take time to answer.
