Sorry to hear from forum mate who are updated by "Decision Made" or "CAPPED". And in the same time CONGRATS those who has received MR, Second Line in eCAS and PER recently.

Meantime I would like to request @ ADMIN to update SGVO database otherwise it shows some mismatch info. Like now it shows –

AOR->174
PER->58

From my calculation and understanding as following –

AOR -->109 (excluded VISA ISSUE, PPR, MR, 2nd LINE)
PER-->33 (excluded VISA ISSUE, PPR, MR, 2nd LINE, AOR)

NO INFO EVEN PER ->48 (before last entry received PER in database)

Also I would like to request @ ADMIN to update by change those row color who are not updating their time line in the database at least until PER info.

Otherwise database doesn’t look smart ..... ;D ;D ;D

dear all, bad news for me. my ECAS status as follows:

1. We received your application for permanent residence on July 3, 2014.
2. We started processing your application on March 3, 2015.
3. A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

may be rejection letter is coming & may be i have nothing to do as decision has been made.
AOR: 9 Dec 2014 (NOC4011). i submitted additional docs on 18 Feb 2015 including clarification letter on supervisor's partial signature in response to 30-day procedural fairness on work experience. today i have seen the second line ecas status with decision has been made info.
i would like to express my gratitude to this forum members who have given me nice suggestions. May Allah bless u all.
(submitted docs were:elaborated work exp letter from supervisor, cert of employment including working hr & duration from HR, reference letter for all publications, all promotion letters, salary cert, employment ID, visiting card of mine and supervisor)

Probably bad news is also coming for me... No update after sending docs.. :'(

Me and one of my friends in same situation. Like you, our NOC is 2174. My friend's app date is 20th May and mine is 21st May.

Nothing from SGVO after AOR in 23rd of Oct, 2014.

No add doc req, no site visit, no 2nd line, no MR & no NOTHING... :-X :-X :-X

Please update forum about your GCMS note when you get it. Then I'll consider to req for GCMS notes.

Will never understand how the SGVO works

Yes brother now SGVO is working on Aug'14 files and it is simple understanding that if any files has dispute SGVO is asking on those application for further documents and this is called Documents background check.

Continuing...... Collected information from various sources....

[size=20pt]Regarding Background Checks: Standard Documentation Checks

• During the PER stage documents background check is done which is an indication is the ECAS that shows ”In Progress".

• All documents been checked & the NOC being tallied against FSW.

• Officer finds the case eligible for Canadian PR, the case becomes Accepted; and then it goes for standard background checks, like Experience, Qualifications, Adaptability, Language, Qualitative Considerations etc.

• 
  If file is well presented and the enclosures are guaranteed by quality-quantity, adequate POF docs etc., there might not be a requirement of actually calling the employers, references etc.

• If there are any concerns of applicant is likely to ask for additional docs, do further scrutiny like calling, visiting etc. or might ask for an Interview.

- Outcome: When fully satisfied, then go for Medical Request.
- ECAS: Continues to Show In Process.

Regarding Background Checks: Security & Criminality Checks

• Most of case it commences after the medical results are submitted to the CIC/VO.

• This is a major activity, mainly concerning any Political, Socio-Economical, Anti-Social disposition, perceived Threat to Canada's integrity etc.

• This is a time consuming stage and something serious, involving many agencies, including CSIS, Interpol, NASC, Database Checking & touch-base with Local Police, etc...

• Many things are considered here... the number of countries visited, Applicant coming from certain countries, ex-Servicemen including Law Enforcement services, Prolonged stay in a country with or without sufficient documents to prove cause, frequent traveling to certain nations, Name (?), Inter-Religion /Nationality Marriages etc.

• If everything is simple & straight, the file soon gets into the final review stage.

• If there are any red flags, the case goes into a spin. Then file might go to the local Police/CID agencies; the outcome/timeframe of which is beyond the control of CIC. And thereby the timeframe can be anything. However, a point to be noted is that PA can also be called for an Interview [at this stage], due to this reason.
  

- Outcome: Only upon security clearance applicant receives the PPR.
- ECAS: Still In Process, but 'Medical Results Received' inside.

• Send Full Docs + RPRF to the Local Visa Office

Stage-3: MR + RPRF Sent

• Security Check
• Visa(s) Stamped
• ECAS: "Decision Made"
• The MR & PPR are sometimes 'clubbed' together.

Stage-4: Return of 'Stamped' Passport/COPR


• Landing at the POE
• ECAS: "Completed".

Don't worry brother if your all additional documents support from SGVO requirement then your second line update will be very soon and will send you MR+PPR soon.

It's really unfortunate for your case and I should say that it was one of big negligence that you should need to see your additional documents are properly collected with same signatory singed properly and matched with your initial documents submission.

However, don't be upset and it will not impact on your next step and you can apply again through EE. Now from third phase pulling CIC has reduced their required points.

Please go through CIC website and create your profile and hope you be selected soon.

Re: Paying RPRF online

Hi Everyone,

I was talking to v_i_r_u_s bhai and came to know that SGVO had sent him instructions on how to pay RPRF online! I think this alone is quite a relief for Bangladeshi applicants. As you know, currently, one needs to carry with him/her a thick set of supporting documents to the Standard Chartered bank in order to have a DD issued for RPRF. The list is not short and Standard Chartered is quite picky on each item in the list.

If SGVO now starts allowing all Bangladeshi applicants to pay RPRF online, our lives will be much easier. That is because all one has to do is go online and use a credit card.

I hope they allow all of us to pay RPRF online, from now on. I wish everyone all the best.

GCMS note is at least a month old when you receive it. So the processes may have started by now. Be hopeful sister.
