Question, the DD that we sent to sgvo, are those processed locally in singapore or sent back to canada for processing? Any idea about the timeline when a DD like landing fee or dependent addition is encased?
I think if the DD is issued for CIC Canada (CAD, Receiver General for Canada), it would be debit in Canada as it is for Canada usage only. If it is issued for CHC SGVO (SGD, High Commission Of Canada To Singapore), it would be debit in Singapore.

Is it good idea to make the DD in singapore dollar rather than CAD?
I (personally) think for a quicker encashment, DD should be issued for CHC. For a safer side (no need to worry about exchange rate), DD should be issued for CIC in Canada.

My 2 cents.

Congrats :)

Dear All,

I am new here and today I received an email from Visa office:
Dear Applicant,

I have assessed your application and there is insufficient evidence to show that you meet the minimal requirements as per subsection 75(2) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations. Subsection 75(2) states that a foreign national is a skilled worker if:

(a) within ten years preceding the date of their application for a permanent resident visa, they have at least one year of continuous full-time employment (30 hours/week) experience, or the equivalent in continuous part-time employment in one or more occupations, other than a restricted occupation, that are listed in Skill Type 0 Management Occupations or Skill Levels A or B of the National Occupational Classification matrix;
(b) during that period of employment they performed the actions described in the lead statement for the occupation as set out in the occupational descriptions of the National Occupational Classification; and
(c) during that period of employment they performed a substantial number of the main duties of the occupation as set out in the occupational descriptions of the National Occupational Classification, including all of the essential duties.

I am not satisfied that you meet all three parts of these requirements. You have provided insufficient evidence to satisfy me that you have performed the action described in the lead statement, and a substantial number of the main duties, of the occupation as set out in Noc 4214 Early childhood educators and assistants.

If you have any additional information to add to your application you should forward this to our office within thirty (30) days of the date of this email and send it to our office by email, fax, or mail, using the address in the signature block below.

If you do not respond to this request within 30 days, your application will be assessed based on the information currently on file and may result in the refusal of your application.

Sincerely,

Immigration Section | Section d'Immigration
High Commission of Canada | Haut Commissariat du Canada
Singapore | Singapour

=======================

I have no idea what kind of additional information they want.

Could anyone help?

Thanks in advance.

Dear,

Now a days many applicant rcvd similar email.....

Now, What I can suggest,

1. Take an employment letter from HR stating ur employment duration and working hr.

2. Take another job duty letter from ur boss with a descriptive job duties syncing wih ur NOC and prev submitted job duty letter.

3. send all relevant employment letter like ur promotion/salary increment/bonus letter/few recent payslips.

Thats all I can suggest as of now...Earlier two of my colleague rcvd same letter (MI-2) on Sep14 and they have rcvd their Visa on Dec 14....

Also:

"Consult other same NOC people with the text of your JD letter(s) to see how many boxes you can tick. Remember to pay attention to the lead statement (introductory paragraph) as those count as JDs for FSW purposes too. You need to meet a "substantial" number of the JDs and most or all of the lead statement. Be hard on yourself and ask others to be hard on you. Assess honestly where the deficiencies are and try to get an additional letter "giving further information" from the same person who wrote your original letter. Don't contradict anything that you've already said, just expand upon it and make it perfectly clear that you fit. If there are any sort of supporting documents that show you performed those duties you should include those too--maybe some records of projects you worked on, copies of instructions you received from superiors showing your duties, something like that."

Hope for the best....

Thanks Everyone.
My timeline is:
Per: 21 July 2015
AOR: 29 Dec 2015

I have requested new letters from my previous employers. Fingers crossed.
Don't know if this is only happening in SGVO...

My timeline is similar to yours. Crossed fingers for both of us...

Thanks for this info. I think we have overlooked at how DD is cashed in SGVO. If CAD DD are flown back to Canada, there will sure be delay to get en cashed and confirmation. May be this is the root cause of delay after MR/PPR stage.

I think they narrow down this part in EE by introducing online payment.
