Hi Tamsam21 bhaiya,

It is good that they only asking for your Bank Statement of similarity of your POF. There is similar request [in this forum] has been raised from SGVO to check either applicant is maintaining the similar type of fund in their account / FD / Bond.

they ask for nikahnama and bank statements. But my 2nd line ECAS not updated yet. I don't know if they will ask for more documents or not? Can you tell me what is the next step:?

Had you provided your marriage certificate only along with your doc? What type of Proof of Fund you have shown earlier? Bank certificate or FDR?

In previous years, It was also noticed that SGVO asks for Nikahnama for BD Muslims.

Something is better than nothing at least they contacted you. I was wondering, how u will send it? through VFS or personally ?

I submitted Bank Statement and Solvency Certificate as POF. But as the account was opened less than 6 months ago,, I had submit only 4 month's statement..

Usually any kind of VISA/IMM status application needs to have atleast 6 months bank statement, however you have provided less than 6 months reason they have requested again to you either you are maintaining or not till now.

I hope it will not be a problem if you are still maintaining it though it was less period of time when you sent your application to CIC.

Yes, I did not send the nikah nama with application. I provided bank certificate earlier and this time they are asking for bank statements for a year.

a question, how do you know when file was transfered ?
I got an AOR from SGVO two weeks back and started checking ecas and it has only one line saying 'we received your application on 22nd August'.

Yes, I did not send the nikah nama with application. I provided bank certificate earlier and this time they are asking for bank statements for a year.

I think Bank statement is basic requirement than Bank certificate.
Same as Nikkah Nama is basic requirement than Marriage certificate.

It is good if you provide both of them at a time.
