Dear Forum Mates:
Plz be aware of BD consultancy agents!!! They are just black mailing their clients. I know one such event of my friend who applied through an agent in mid of August 2014 for noc 4011. In December, the agent called him over the phone and said that his noc is going to fill up soon and he (my friend) has no chance to be within this quota. So the agent asked him to give extra 10,000 dollar so that they can process his file faster with the help of Canadian advocate. This advocate in Canada works for this agency and he is so poweful that he will ensure PER for my friend by any means, if he give this money.

My friend refused to give this money and said that this should not be the case. They became angry with my friend. In January, again they called my friend and said that they have been able to manage his PER by the help of the Canadian Advocate and he must pay extra 10,000 dollar for this, otherwise, should face the music.
My friend replied them that he didn't agree with this deal and hence why he should pay for that. The agent says, "even if you do not give us your consent, we will do this and you have to pay".

Such is the practices of BD agencies. So dear friends, plz beaware of these dishonest guys!!

My opinion is that, this forum has much better knowledge than any consultant in BD. So plz ask anything to the senior members of this forum if you have any problem. Don't go to agents.

Hi Ashif bhai,

- Is there any way that applicant go aware from their agreed consultant after get PER??

- Is there any legal obligation from CIC if anyone cancel their agreement in the middle of way if the consultant / agent asking extra amount or misguided by wrong information??

This is really very shame for Bangladeshi consultant.

Thanks you.

I can feel your pain brother. I applied via consultant too, because my spouse became afraid that we may make silly mistakes and get rejected otherwise.

In reality, it was the consultant making mistakes, and I had to correct them. I applied in December but initially they used old forms which were updated.

You can cancel your agreement with your consultant as per the agreement/contract you have with him/her. And inform CIC or Visa Office about this. (submit new forms with updated contact address, mail. And phone)

99.99% consultants from Bangladesh are not recognized by CIC so I think CIC will not ask for explanations.

Just raise a CSE with your visa office and tell that u want to cancel the representation (do not mention reason, just say for convenience)

Visa Office will guide you further after getting CSE

Thanks you Raisa Apu.
+1 for your help.

By the way would you please advise me how to update SGVO SS as I updated in Global SS.

Hello folks,

Can anyone speculate what's going on in SGVO? Why files of applicants from 1st May to 15th May 2014 are unmoved for quite a long time. I don't get the pattern really. For last couple of days I just started thinking otherwise. Letting this process go and trying to concentrate in to the job. It is very difficult though. My ECAS is giving an update of last 04-11-2014. Yes this is the date it is showing when I log on to my account. I am just loosing hope. Anyways good luck to everyone including me of course. May Allah fulfill our dream.

You can order GCMS notes and also you can check with SGVO. May be they have send MR but missed the mail. So just check with SGVO first and order GCMS notes.
