5.What is the difference between GCMS and CSE (case specific enquiry) ?

6. At that stage of my application which one would be more effective GCMS or CSE ?

7. Can you please share the process of GCMS ?

My second line was added on Oct 28th and I applied for GCMS a week ago. It takes around one month to receive notes. U should apply too. Please do a search on the word GCMS on this website and u will get all the info that u need.

Dear All,

I am also worried about my application after seeing Mr. Asif's update. My application details are given below

1. APPLICATION received by CIC on 7th May
2. 2nd line update on 24th October 2014.

NOC Code: 2171

After the 2nd line there is no update or mail from visa office. Would you please guide me how I can apply for GCMS. I am from Bangladesh and I have prepared my application by myself.

Hi desertfox, thank you very much for your reply. Appreciate it. I am married and my spouse is accompanying me during the landing. Are you sure both of us can bring 5000 USD separately? As that would mean we both can take 10000 USD in total and it solves the problem anyway. I could not find anywhere about this as in all places it's only said that you can take max 5000 USD out of Bangladesh while travelling outside SAARC countries but nothing about your spouse's ability to endorse similar amount on his/her passport. If you have any reference can you please share. Would be very helpful. Regards.

Endorse your passport for 5000 and your wife's for 5000. It will be ok. Do not worry. Although a faraway dream for me, I will have to do something similar if I get PR..

If ecas shows that 'Decision made' before sending any Medical request to applicant, is there any hope left to get PR?

I didn't get any medical request email but ecas is showing 'Decision Made'.

OHHHH..............That's a bad sign. Raise CSE to SGVO regarding your decision. Ask them what happened & whether they have send any medical request or not. Tell them that you didn't receive any medical request. And did you use your e-mail id in the generic application form as a mode of correspondence??? cozz if you don't give any e-mail address in the Generic form they will contact with you through your given residential address.

Dear Mushfiq congrats. I saw how you felt when you were not receiving PER. Mushfiq now i wana ask you something.

1. Did you put your e-mail id correctly?

2. The e-mail that you have received from CIC will be with your file number in it if not UCI. So is the file number there in the e-mail??

3. If the CIC mail contains your file number then raise a CSE asking about your application status & also mention that you didn't receive Positive Determination Of Eligibility mail from CIC and ask them to provide UCI number. Put the file number in the CSE.

You will have the reply i believe on Monday. And when you receive the reply let us know about it. Below is the CSE link

Yes trust worthy but they are a 3rd party. They charge 25/30 dollars and take more than one month to collect gcms notes. Try the link on the CIC website. You will then get it with only 5 dollars after a month.
