Alhamdulillah!!! My ECAS status changed to DECISION MADE yesterday and 4th line added... :) :) :)
Yet to see any update from VFS though. Hopefully they will update the status after the christmas holidays are over. Wishing everyone gets the good news soon.
Can anyone of you share your experience of taking POF from bangladesh as 5000 USD is the limit set by bangladeshi government? How did you take the money out of Bangladesh?

Another great news.. Congrates Ashif vai.. :)

Congratulations. Take some money as Travellers Cheque and some as cash. If you're married your spouse can carry money too on her own passport endorsement.

Dear Senior Members:

If ecas shows that 'Decision made' before sending any Medical request to applicant, is there any hope left to get PR?

I didn't get any medical request email but ecas is showing 'Decision Made'.

Pls revert.

Regards
Bashar

Hi desertfox, thank you very much for your reply. Appreciate it. I am married and my spouse is accompanying me during the landing. Are you sure both of us can bring 5000 USD separately? As that would mean we both can take 10000 USD in total and it solves the problem anyway. I could not find anywhere about this as in all places it's only said that you can take max 5000 USD out of Bangladesh while travelling outside SAARC countries but nothing about your spouse's ability to endorse similar amount on his/her passport. If you have any reference can you please share. Would be very helpful. Regards.

Fortune and my Medical:

Since it was taking too long to get any email/response from SG after my second line addition (9th Oct 14), I have applied for GCMS report on 18th Nov. I rcvd the report one month later...Since I am moving it took two days to read the email....

[size=13pt]And then what I have seen on the GCMS report ( @ correspondence section ) - They have sent me Medical Request on 20th Oct 14 with below docs:

1. Medical Attachment for me and spouse
2. PCC for BD and FBI report
3. Photo
4. Updated Employment letter from HR dept
5. Right of Permanent Residence Fee

They had given 60 days for all of this formalities.Whole body of the emails is written GCMS report (with all other correspondences like PER/AOR etc.).

So I have already crossed that time frame.

After that I have sent an email to SG referring to this GCMS report's email and informed them that I have not rcvd any email communication from them. They have sent me an email immediately with Medical attachment and instruction. This time they have given me 30 days and mentioned that they will refuse my application otherewise.

So after waiting of 20 months I have finally received Medical request (without receiving any prior doc req from them).

Thanks to all of the forum members........Please receive my sincere gratitude for supporting me through out this painful time... :) . I am really grateful to all of you.

Asking my presence on ur prayer for my upcoming process and career........

Ummmm..... decision made BEFORE medical.... Yes brother I would worry. I suggest sending them a CSE rather than waiting for them to contact you. You can politely express how you feel and request for a reply. Good luck brother.

Ask them whether they sent MR at all. Look at Ashif bhai's case. He had to find out what was going on by obtaining his GCMS notes. If ur second line was added a long time ago then request for GCMS notes via the GCMS portal as well as a CSE to SGVO.
