1- Any document that shows that both are brothers ... it will be good if it is official document not self written. In rare case you can also attach affidavit (not recommended)
2- No need to certify ... copies are sufficient.

Thanks dawn_canada for your advice. i feel relieved.

Hi all,

I have an inquiry as followings:

1. in economics classes form, there is an input amount of assets. is it the land/house ownership certification? if i declare a certain amount, shall i provide evidience? does the amount of assets include the amount of bank savings or separately. Thanks.

In Proof of Fund, you need to have amount in liquidity i.e amount which you can move easily to Canada.
It would be good if you have amount in Bank to show them.

Don't complicate your process by including too many things ... they just need amount higher than which they have mentioned on their website for settlement in Canada.

Hope it helps you.

Thanks dawn_canada again.

I want to clarify further in my previous question. I am filling up the economics classes form. What is the difference between assets and settlement funds? Are they including each other?

Quote form economics classess form:
11. a) assets
Indicate total amount of assets
b) liabilities
c) settlement funds
Indicate the amount of unencumbered transferable and available funds that you have.

To what I understand, assets mean fixed assets right (i.e. houses, land, car,….) so do I need to calculate or convert it to the amount and provide evidence?

I am clear with settlement funds, it is the bank statement.

Pls correct me if I am wrong. Thank you.

Yes you are correct. If you have those assets on your name then you can add agreement papers to show evidence and that can be in any currency.

Make your habit of producing proof whatever you state ... it is very good in long run.

Hi! It was indicated in the guidelines as to what they have meant by "Assets." In my application, I have only included those assets which are readily convertible to cash. (e.g. savings accounts both in SG and overseas, CPF fund) Here's an excerpt from CIC's guidelines as they define what you need to include as part of your assets.

Question 11 (Schedule 3)
a) Assets
Indicate the total amount (in Canadian dollars) of fixed deposits, savings accounts, pensions, etc.

b) Liabilities
Indicate the total amount (in Canadian dollars) of real property mortgages and any other personal debts.

c) Total funds available for settlement in Canada
With consideration to your total assets and liabilities, indicate the total amount (in Canadian dollars) of unencumbered, transferable and available funds that you have for settlement in Canada.

Thanks Mrs_fca for your advice.

So was that what you done before and was successfully accepted ?

One more question, can my wife be the owner of saving accounts and consider it as proof of fund or it must be me as its owner because she managed all the income/savings account 
Thanks a lot.

Hi friends,

Can someone share the current times of SGVO. PER to AOR; AOR to PCC/MR: PCC/MR to Visa issued?

Thanks!
