Hi Seniors,

I stayed and worked in Singapore for 2 years. Now, I'm settled in Bangladesh staying here for last 5 years.

Recently, I just received the Letter from CIC Singapore requesting the COC Letter from Singapore.

My confusion regarding the COC receiving:

In CIC website under the Singapore Police clearance section, it is written that,
"The Certificate of Clearance (COC) will be mailed directly to the Canadian immigration office requesting the certificate."

In the Appeal Application form, I found spaces to be filled with address(1st page):

Postal Address: what address should I put here? My local residential address in Bangladesh, or High Commission of Canada in Singapore?

Secondly, are they going to send the COC documents directly to High Commission of Canada in Singapore directly, or at my mentioned postal address? Should I tell my friends in Singapore to pick it up for me?

I would highly appreciate if anyone could help me clear my confusion and advice me what to do regarding this.

Do not worry, bhai. I am in your team; ecas says processing started on Oct 28; no MR yet. Let us help each other remain patient and pray for all.
That's great mcgyver. We shouldn't panic. Let's wait and pray for all.

Hi guys, anyone here who got 2nd line updated in ECAS before November and is still waiting for MR? My ECAS system showed "started processing application on 29th October" and am still waiting for MR email...Apparently there are quite a few whose application got processed after mine (at least based on the 2nd line status) and already got MR...I am getting more and more worried as days go by...:(

Praying hard for all of us...

Brother,

I am on the same boat. My ECAS shows "started processing application on 24th October" but still waiting for MR. Let's pray and hope for the best.

My wife stayed in USA from 18th may'2012 till 23rd October'2012 in New York and Virginia. Does she need pcc or FBI clearance for that period. The duration is 159 days. Again she traveled in USA for 40 days in 2014. Does she need pcc or FBI clearance ? Please advise.
