SGVO seems very busy with 2013 applicants...

Dear Efat

When did you get PER/Nomination? If you received AOR on 14 October applying in Mid June, then it seems to me that SGVO is busy with you, not with 2013 applicants.

Best of Luck ! :

I think SGVO is neither busy with 2013 applicants nor with 2014 applicants.. they are simply busy with themselves!! 8)

Hi All,

I'm in bit of a soup. I have applied SGVO in my application, received my PER yday and ECAS has been updated as in process.
However recently I have had slipped disc and facing surgery. My question is when does MR come through?
I need to know an approx time for SGVO so that I can plan to undertake or postpone my surgery accordingly.
Also will my PR application have any chance of rejection due to medical grounds? Very confused and anxious.

Thanks!

Thank you ashif.

Congratulations to all who has got AOR, MR,PCC !!!

Is there any one who can suggest and guide me about money transfer from bangladesh to canada? How can I make all bank money available in canada for use. If I will get international credit card from any bank - is that solution? What is the best way to get money available in Canada from Bangladesh? Please help and discuss, I am blind about this issue ... hope it will help others too :)

@SHARMIN13

Using International credit card is one of the worst option. You can transfer your fund from bank to bank. Also you can carry cash with you (more than $5000 is illegal, but Its not possible for them to find out more than $5000 if do not declare). However if you carry cash more than $10 K you have to declare at YYZ (Toronto International Airport) customs section.

Thanks

Thank you Shiblyn bro. it will help :)

Before landing no one can open bank account at Canada I think! one should have bank account in Canada to transfer bank balance. But before landing how can any one transfer bank balance? is it possible without any SIN number or bank account in canada?

Hello everyone. I have just received MR, RPRF, PCC request from SGVO. However, i am concerned why i was asked to submit PCC from the USA because i have lived there for totally about 4 months. Is there anybody who are in similar situation?

Congrats!

I wouldn't worry too much - as long as you didn't do anything wrong in the US, just give them what they asked and you should be fine!
