You have received a standard form letter for request for evidence. For those that don't know this is a common audit strategy to weed out fraud. If you have a genuine case, I wouldn't be too worried about any "hidden" "tone" or "intent" of the letter. This should be very straightforward. If you were verifying the work experience of a job candidate what evidence would you require from him?marina ee said:I applied for Skilled worker as NOC 2174 (i think) in 2014 May. Just yesterday I got an email from Singapore Counselor that he is not happy with the letter of my work experience. He threatened me if there is misrepresentation blah blah... every work experience I have is real, so I don't know why they gave me a one month ultimatum to convince them that I am actually a computer programmer! The guy sends me an email disclosing his name, which is quite awkward. I just want to know what to include in my email to him that my job experience is authentic: taxes, payroll... These are his words:
Specifically, I have concerns that the employment references from ---- which you have provided in support of your application are not genuine. I have noted that you have not supplied any additional information to substantiate this employment. I would like to provide you with the opportunity to respond to this information. You will have 30 days from the date of this communication to submit additional information in this regard.
Maybe--
1. Appointment letters
2. Promotion letters / letters of commendation
3. Paystubs
4. Actual salary deposited by virtue of certified copies of bank statement for several months (if possible, from the beginning of employment)
5. An updated reference letter from HR (w/o revealing the intent of the request to HR)
6. A cover letter talking about how you joined this company, what you do and how you spend your day
7. A picture of your office building, the name of your company on the building
8. A selfie of you sitting at your office desk with some company memorablia in the background
etc.
You should mail all of these evidences to the visa officer. If there is a rejection of your application, you can file an appeal - for that folks normally recommend to hire a lawyer.
Thanks
