Hello Zia bhai. Congratulations. When are you coming to Canada? Your timing will be great. Spring is setting in....

Hi,

Can anyone advise me what will happen if a spouse of the Primary Applicant is pregnant during the MR request?

All medical tests will be done except X-Ray of the spouse. After delivery, both mom & baby will hv to give medical tests again.

In most cases, they ask for DNA test for the baby

Bro .. I have lived in Singapore for many many years .. and believe me .. once you loose your residency here .. it will be like impossible to get back ..looking at what is happening in Singapore. SGPR is non-transparent .. so once its gone .. means it is GONE..

Thanks Hongkong bai

Thanks BrightAngel,

I was under the impression that the entire Medical tests will be post-ponded later on..

I am hearing that there is an option to take the x-ray keeping some plates? is it not advisable?

Hi,

One of my colleague went through the same situation. Your spouse can undergo the test using special plates for X-Ray. As far as I remember, they do it at Dr. Wahab's.

All the best.

Hi friend,
Even I have been through the same situation. But we did not opt for XRay. It is a risky affair, a risk which is intense ; I believe nothing in this world is justifiable at the cost of the newborn's health ... some things in life we must set priority correctly.

Regards,
Andy

Yes Friday has been dark again. No doubt that they are giving priority on NOC. NOC based selection is completely out of control. Dont think that they are maintaining serial any more. It is now all NOC based

Yes there is an option taking X-Ray using plates. But its up to you as risk part needs to be ensured first for unborn baby. Better talk to designated Doctor first. He may advise you the best option available for you.

Hi Rahatamin, Andy & BrightAngel,

Thanks for your valuable suggestion. I have not got the MR requests yet, still planning in advance for it. Thanks again for your suggestions :)

My original COPR and landing documents went missing while we were moving from UAE to Bangladesh. Basically we were resident in UAE ,as we got PR we decided to go back to home country for vacation before moving to Canada .While vacant the flat may be that time we missed/misplaced the document.

We have the passports with PR visa but other documents are lost.

Action taken :
Raised CSE and sent email to SGVO .

In CIC website i found below:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=044&top=12

What immigration documents can I have replaced if they are lost, stolen or destroyed?

Outside Canada

You may have the following current, valid immigration documents replaced:

temporary resident visa counterfoil;
permanent resident visa counterfoil;
confirmation of permanent residence;

Please advice if anyone has similar experience or any more suggestion.

Feeling down :(
