my NOC 1111 application was sent back for two reasons - ECA report not original copy and the job details doesnt match

Im planning to send an application but for Financial managers this time; I noticed that in one of the returned forms; they have noted my UCI 8 digit number - do I have to include this in filling up my new application

Also i will revise my job description - is there any chance that they will figure it out as im just worried what if they store my previous application

Sorry to hear this.

You don't have to include the UCI since you are sending a new package. It's optional

You can also revise your JD. Your document is going in as a fresh one

What was your initial application date?

Theoretically you 'should' mention the UCI# if you have one.

If you want CIC to look around and do the hard work for you, that's your choice. Not mentioning UCI# is not a critical issue, but nonetheless I do not see a reason why you shouldn't be mentioning it.

As long as you are still maintaining the same NOC for the same job that you have performed, revising the JD itself will not be a problem.

If your JD contains 80% of the duties listed under your Primary NOC then I do not see a reason why you should be worried.

Got my package back today :( Reject reason is the supporting documents provided by me for my Job responsibilities of my NOC is not sufficient, as my Company was not willing to provide the Job responsibility letter as per the requirement, I had no choice but to make a self declaration. Now i am planning to apply again in express entry. Any idea on what is the process and what documents i need to keep ready.

Sorry for the news.
You can still make FSW 2014.
Try and approach a senior colleague
that can write the ref letter for you please.
For EE,you will need
1.A DETAILED CV in Canadian standard format
2.IELTS
3.ECA Report(This may be needed for licensing purposes)
4.Other Docs-Till we have the full requirements of the prog by end DEC.2014
Good luck

Hi,
quick question.. A reference letter in a plain A4 size paper signed by superior officer is enough with a copy of his Id card/ visiting card? Or should it be notarized? I am applying from India in 2172 as 2171 is already filled.

Thanks,,,,,

A4 Letter attested by your supervisor will be just fine. Make sure you attach other supporting documents which include employment contract, appraisals, pay slips etc.

NEVER go with self declared job roles or self sworn affidavits when it comes to proof of experience.

Although the Express Entry scheme is not a 100% clear at the moment, I am very sure that it will not encourage self declared job duties as well.

There is no need to notarize the letter when you first submit the document to CIC, for the category of FSW -- if the visa officer is satisfied with the content of your photocopy of the letter, they will likely ask you to send the original copy. If they are not satisfied they will just reject your application. Sending the original at the first stage, when they only asked for your photocopies, is unlikely to convince them that you have a better application (I know because I sent originals before).

I encourage you to send employment contract, appraisals, pay slips etc. If your work letter basically paraphrase the content of your NOC job, it is even better. Make sure that you have to make the letter and the NOC descriptions look different yet paraphrase it.

I have sent my application 2 week back and it was delivered last week, I am getting fear my application may come back back because, I have worked for 4 companies till now, I have sent reference letter for 3 company and i have done self deceleration for 1 company, also i have attached all the tax documents and payslips for all the companies, will CO will return my application ?Confused state here :-\
