I believe its 4-6 weeks on an average.

Hi all,

I have a question: my father has a middle name, but my birth certificate only shows his first name and last name, the middle name is missing. Should I write his full name on my application or the name that appears on my birth certificate? Would this inconsistency cause any problem when they review my application? Do I need to submit additional proof, e.g. his passport copy or a statement saying that this is a mistake on the certificate?
Thank you for your help.

i dont have a time for that becuase i should send my documents before january
so what should i do you think:(

so why in the auto reply email i received from noc it mentioned 5 or 10 working days ,

I have a question about job code 4011.

I have worked in university and community college before. So for the university experience I can claim it as 4011 (University professors and lecturers). However, for the community college experience I have to claim it as 4021 (College and other vocational instructors), am I right? I found it strange that both experiences are highly similar and so can I claim community college experience as also 4011 (i.e., does the place where you do your work matter)?

Finally, I wonder if you think it is worthwhile to hire an immigration lawyer such as David Cohen? Does he actually help?

I don't know about David.
But, as you mentioned you have University experience as your main NOC code, you can always show your community college experience as well with the relevant NOC code.

I believe major difference between both is the size of employer and exposure working in a University is way different than college.

Luck!

If I were you, I would apply for both PNP and FSW. (Ask your province's PNP whether it is allowed as this is not allowed in some provinces.) If I am correct, FSW has a much higher rejection rate than PNP, because FSW is picky in their work letters. Even if you have the work letters it does not mean that the officer will accept it as corresponding to the job code that you wrote. In PNP, in contrast, you can phone to them to explain your situation.

Notice that the current FSW programme is likely to end in Dec 31 this year. Therefore, if you need work letters you need to be quick. After Dec 31 they have something called an Express Entry system that I am not familiar.

Hi,

I submitted my app last August 20, 2014. Before i submit, i rechecked it soo many times and i was able to reprint new forms like generic application and fee payment form. My app reached CIO on the August 25th. Once again when i rechecked CIC website, i found out that schedule 3 form was also updated before August ends.

It worries me now, will they return my package because i used the old schedule 3 form?

1. I have placed bar code pages of Generic Form in sequence at no 6 and 7. Is that ok Huh (I have read they need to be at top)

2. In Intended NOC. I have written for example 217X and in description missed one alphabetic letter. (NOC number is ok but slightly one letter missed from description) is that ok ?
