Hi All,

I sent my application, just found that I have issue with birthplace.

My place is Tirumangalam ( India).

My passport have Thirumangalam ( India).
My Birthcertificate have Tirumangalam ( India).

I have mentioned as per my passport in my application.

Since name of my city is in native language, both Tirumangalam and Thirumangalam are correct in English conversation. But not sure, how CIC will react...

Hi Everyone

Sorry to repeat my question. I've got a question. I'm spouse of PA. In my 5669 form, I ignored an employment of 2012 accidentally because it's short period. I stated unemployed for 2012. However, I found PA sent the Y12/13 salary tax return form as supporting documents for working experience. In the form, it states "Spouse's Income" in a separate line without showing the employer's name. Will I be returned for that mismatch? Please suggest... Thanks in advance

Dear nishesh3003,

Hope you're well.

I just realized that on the SCHEDULE A – BACKGROUND/DECLARATION (IMM 5669) of my spouse, on Question 12: ''ADRESSES'', I wrote down thw wrong date on one of her former addresses.

Instead of ... ''From 2009-01 to 2014-07'' I wrote ''From 2009-01 to 2008-07''.

Will this be consider a minor issue?

Please advice.

Thank you.

Well - CIC will not assume the dates for you so this will be the VO's call. Background details (although not verified for all the applicants) are essential details and CIC expects them to be accurate and complete. If your NOC is not hot - I would suggest you send a revised form with a cover letter.

Hello everybody,
Please help me ASAP,

Today I just got a letter from CIO that they returned my application as federal skilled worker because I hadn't send my original foreign educational certificate accompany with my WES report (I had just sent the WES report) .
Now I need to know how I should reapply?
1) Should I just prepare a reference letter together with my educational translations and resend them without any change in other application forms?
2) If I have to update or change any application forms, what should I renew?
3) What about my Police certificate/job letter/financial report of bank? Should I renew them? Because at least they have 2 months for validity. Sad Huh

I am really confused and I cant think clearly.
Please Clearly tell me the answer to the followings
1) As far as I understood, I dont need to change job reference letter or bank report or even police certificate, is that true?
2) As far as I understood, I dont need to print any new pages and sign them again because of dates, Is that true?
3) I understood just I have to resend the old application together with their letter and the missing document back to CIO, is that true?

Guys I do really need your help at the moment
Please somebody clearly answer my questions
My documents are with my representative in Canada and unfortunately I have lost the copies on my computer,

Sorry to hear that.

If I were you, I would do the following:

- Ensure that I include the latest forms (if any) that may have been updated for FSW.
- Print the forms fresh and mention the latest date of re-submission.
- Ensure PCCs are valid.
- Ensure DD is valid (if applicable).
- Ensure Bank statements are latest (if applicable).
- Mention the UCI# in newly printed Generic Schedule 3 form (if mentioned on the returned application).

In my opinion you should not resubmit the forms with the old dates as they have been 'rejected' by CIC and this would be treated as 're-application' and not updating your application package with a missing document (copy of degree certificate).

You may ask your rep to scan and send you your old documents for reference purpose before you fill in the application forms again (as they would require revising the date of submission).

You just need to be careful and sincere this time, and since you have most of the documents already, refilling the forms won't be a pain.

You have to wait a couple of months for the CC/DD to get charged and that's the only initial indication that your file has been processed.

If you have a UCI from the past then you can use that on CIC's website to check the status of your application, but most likely its not going to reflect much until your CC/DD is charged by CIC.

Going by the current trend, this could take until Oct end or Nov mid to happen.

Good luck !

I was advised by one of the senior members that this would not be a problem.

The justification to the advise is - CIC accepts SSC Marksheets as well as Proof of Birth, and this document does not indicate your place of birth.

So long as your Full Name, Parents Name and DOB are clearly mentioned - you should not have any issues.

Good Luck!

Academic IELTS will not be accepted. The application will most likely be rejected.

Hi bro,

I submitted my application in mid June to my lawyer to sign off and then delivered to cic on June 26. I remembered the Generic Application Form for Canada [IMM 0008] was updated in 1x June (I forgot) but I m sure it's the time the package is on the way to my lawyer in Canada. During that time quite a lots of applicants wondered whether they should use the old form or new form. But since the form was dated on July 2014 on the site, we assumed the old form can still be fine as long as it was delivered to cic before July 1.

However today I went to check Cic form package link and the IMM 008 has been revised to "June 2014"!!!!! It's so not fair as it was originally stated as July 2014 so we assume it's still fine as long as it is received by June 30!

What should I do now? Will I go rejected? There's still a long way till my application got charged. Hope someone can help me. Thanks.

NO. That will not be a reason for rejection.

In my opinion - CIC will ask you to resend an updated Schedule 3 post AOR.
