Guys.... !! Couldn't believe..

I have just now checked ECAS, and found that my 2nd line has been updated.- "We started processing your application on 07-04-2015".. !!

Yesterday also I checked but there was no 2nd line..

I am a 3rd Nov applicant and recd by PER on 30th Jan, AOR on 18th Feb.( my timeline is also updated on left side) !! All the best to rest of the forum members too..

Just need help on couple of questions to know,
-if the 2nd line is updated does that mean , my background check is done ? or it is still running.
-As per the trend I have seen the MR is recd in next 2 weeks time of 2nd line update. Am I right. Kindly advise.

Congratulations buddy. Your timeline is same as mine but visa office different. You have wvo and me LVO. Hope I also get 2nd line update soon.

My NOC is 3012. Submitted my documents in november and it got to cic office on 7th nov but up till now,I have not gotten any reply from cic. I have tried to call their number but it wasn't going. Pls how do I get cic and inquire about my documents from nigeria

Call CIC and ask them about your application status.

Here is how you can do it (copied from some previous posts).

Call on 001-613-944-4000. (International number)
Use options 1 1 1 Line will be transferred to CIO.
Use options 1 1 3
You will be asked application number thrice. Do not enter anything.
Line will be transferred to a CIC call centre officer..

Hi Djendrju87,

Any experience with if the call center officer be just reading out the status from CIC website or do they have access to the exact stage of IN PROCESS application?

I applied in November. My application was delivered on 26th November. Currently application is in Colombo as per mail received on 23rd March. Any one waiting for revert from Colombo?
