My file was submitted november first through a canadian lawyer and nothing till now I even dont know my UCI no. the lawyer keeps telling me this is normal but i loosing hope here any advice I live in egypt and the file sent from canada

I am nov 20 applicant ,received my per on feb 12 and till date only first line is updated in ecas ,what might be going on with my application? Will I get aor first or second line will be updated first or MR ? When my background check starts, after aor or after second line is updated or it can happen even now?

Congrats on your PER. Now your file would go to designated Visa office and VO will send you AOR. It takes 20-30 days for AOR from PER.
After AOR from VO, your background check etc will start and 2nd line update would come after that. There is no pattern from AOR to 2nd line update as I myself is waiting for 2nd line update ( which is "We started processing your application on XXXX" date). If anyone beside 1-2 cases comes from Nov applicant for 2nd line update we will have more idea.

But till date no AOR is in my inbox. I have changed my employer so how to communicate this to visa Office and also to which Visa office as most of the novemebr applicants are getting Warsaw as LVO.
Please provide your valuable suggestions.

Is there anyone who got PER on or after 5th Feb. and received AOR.

Call CIC and they can help you to inform where your filed had been transferred.

Most of the applications of Oct, Nov and December application are being transferred to Warsaw visa office and most of Nov apps yet to received AOR,
We can expect MR in the month of April or may.

Anyone please guide me how to get the US PCC from India , i heard that its going to take more than 14 weeks , kindly advice .

I got my PER on 5th Feb , so am not sure how to go ahead to get the PCC quickly .

i heard that NOC 1123 capped out by the end of Oct.

if i were you i would call CIC and request an update immediately.

Thanx for your reply. Can I call CIC from outside of Canada? What is their contact number?

As far I know, NOC 1123 was not capped out. I had monitored their website as long as they provided the cap information till December 14/15.... It was shown 485 received/accepted and 350 are under process or under verification.

Try to contact CIC and ask for UCI number. Also you can ask about the status of your application.

You can call CIC on the number 0016139444000 and listen the menu carefully and follow the options as under: -

when asked file number just press # and then 1 for confirmation
then enter your year of birth. then press 1 for confirmation.
If there is operator free the system will give you some waiting time and if all are busy the system will say that they are unable to receive the call now due to huge call volume. You have to try the same again until you were asked to wait and then once you get the operator, ask her/him about your UCI number.

Have they charge your CC? You can call CIC to know status of your application

Thank You for your reply. I have contact with my Local bank but my local bank replied that they do not have any access to status of any Canadian Bank, therefore, they are not able to provide me the information whether CIC has submitted the Bank Draft or not.

Which number to call CIC? Do they entertain call from outside of Canada? What are their official hours to take applicants calls?

It depends on where from your applied u need to check which visa office process applications for ur coumtry of residence. London process for Uk, Pakistan and UAE as per my knowledge. Where from u applied?

Does AOR always follow PER or does it sometimes go straight to MR?

UCI is what you use in tracking your application with CIC; it is the unique client identifier.

Please tell how useful is the UCI number??
