What is an AOR and what is it's significance. I received PER email on 04-Feb-2015. Should I expect AOR ? When can I expect MR, followed by PCC ? When does the background checks start, do I need to give any references for the background checks ?

Hello All, Today we received our PER email with UCI number.

Status so far:

NOC Applied: 1114
Application Date: 28-Nov-14
DD charged Date: 22-Jan-15
PER Date: 19-Feb-2015
AOR: Awaiting...

So all the very best to everyone to get their PER's...

anyone whose application was recieved before 24th nov and didn't get per?
my noc 2172, cc charged 20th jan 2015 i still not get per...

AOR is Acknowledgement of receipt by Visa office. Once you get your PER, your file goes to your designated Visa office. once AOR is recd after that only background check and MR is sent. it takes 3 to 4 weeks for AOR to be recd from PER and again 4 to 8 weeks to receive MR from AOR. but this is just an estimate, not the exact status everyone gets.. Seniors hope am right

On average, how soon after receiving permanent residency do U have to land and also are there any specifics of how much time U have to spend in Canada after landing before U can depart.

within one year of PR visa, you have to land in Canada otherwise visa will be cancelled and you have reapply for PR and have to all the processes again.

after landing , you can leave Canada after 24 hrs and to maintain your PR status you have to stay 2 years in canada out of 5 years. it can be on off period or continuous period.

after 5 years of PR, you can apply for citizen.

I am November 16 applicant NOC 0111. Till today no communication from CIC, my ECAS is active and showing In Process.

Do I have chance to receive PER, or it's already rejection, because my application takes too long to be processed.

You are not alone, some of us have been charge since 1st week in Jan no PER yet. They are probably checking our file to be sure we have 67points. So remain calm PER will arrive since your ECAS is showing in process

my cc was charge 9th Jan and no PER yet, but my ECAS is showing in process. I believe PER will come at the right time. Lets keep praying and remain calm

Not all visa office send AOR. Some go straight to MR request

Frenz..don't be hopeless, soon PER mail will be floating in our inbox. Just try to reach for your UCI no. by calling to the call centre since the agents could throw some light on your case.

Hi All November applicant..

Just now i wrote on AOR info.. and what i saw in my mail box, AOR email has been received !!!!

So I am reporting my AOR to all November applicant.. I havent seen any other November member reporting AOR..

Just to let you know i filled visa office as NDVO but the file has been transferred to Warsaw, Poland Visa office as anticipated..



Dear admin, pls update my timeline..

Applicaiton filed- 3rd Nov
CC charged- 5th jan
PER email- 30th jan
AOR-18th Feb 15.

Passenger of same boat as I am also 3rd November applicant with 0113 noc. CC charged 7th January and per email on 29th January. Issue is LVO doesn't sent AOR but CIC confirmed that my file received by LVO on 13-02-2015. Hope Allah will help us to gain our goal.

Hi, does CIC send an email after PER to confirm the file transfer?? Or is there a 2nd line in ECAS??
