I have a query: one of my previous work place has changed their name.
Earlier they were registered under different name. Their contact number is still same
Will this impact me if someone tried to contact them for cerification.
As i used to work there for 4 years and left that job 4 years back
I told my employer about my canada immigartion he said they will tell them about me
But as new staff is there i am bit worried

Have u been charged/PER? If you haven't received any PER mail yet then what i suggest you to is to wait few times till u receive PER and your documents arrive at your VO. Finally you can shoot them a CSE about your case when it arrives at your local VO. Hope it will help.

I told the agent that I have submitted my application since last year, over 90 days now and that I have not heard anythig from CIC. She then ask for my Last name and first name, DOB, no of people in my application. She then ask me to take a pen and write down my UCI number. Pls dont ask them for UCI number.

That's good. Now we just have to wait for them to finish their review. I check my ECAS everyday, though it doesn't say anything different, but I check to make sure it still works.
