Your file may also had transferred on the same day when my file transferred. As there is no AOR from LVO so very though to say that if they had started background, and security checks. It may be or may be still in que to get assigned the visa officer.

I have submitted my application to Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada in November 2014 as an Electronic engineer. I have included Bank draft in my application. I have received delivery confirmation by airway bill number about receipt of my package

I have not yet received CIC acknowledgement by email which I have provided in the application. I am really worried about my application status. Please guide me how I could check my application status.

Use google hangout, Skype or magic jack since the calls are free

Follow the below procedure to call CIC call centre

1. Download Google Hangouts (optional) on your phone if it has an android or an apple OS.

2. Dial CIC (+16139444000). It costs nothing if you are done with option 1.

3. Navigate through IVR (1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 3, 1).

4. IVR will ask your application id. Don't wait for it to ask for 3 times before it routes you forward, just press # and it will instantly ask for your year of birth in 'YYYY'. Put the year of your birth.

5. IVR will tell you the waiting period before your call can be answered by an agent. Or if the call traffic is too high, it will ask you to call again later.

6. As soon as you get to the agent, tell them ur NOC and app date and ask for the status. Agent will ask for your last name, first name and date of birth. Once the agent tells u the app status then ask for it file no. And UCI

If you get quick with the IVR, you can reach the waiting period (point# 5 above) within 2 minutes otherwise it may take around 6 to 7 mins before you are asked to wait for an agent.

Dear want to ask you that I am living in malaysia from last three years but mentioned my visa office London. When I receive PER in PER visa office didn't mentioned.

I want to ask what you mentioned you from for visa office do they select by their self according to your current location.????

CIC is diverting apps to various VOs depending on the workload regardless of what we have chosen. Call CIC to check about ur VO

The quota for 2133 is finished . I just got my application returned 2 weeks before for the same NOC 2133.

Not a good news. When my application is received on November 26 the quota was 450 only, but at the time they started reviewing my application it is full.

Need to apply through EE but no hope!!
