Hi friends,

I received PER on 17 FEb.. MY pcc's are pending so shall i apply for PCC now or wait ,( i need to obtain indian as well as UK PCC ).. or validity issue will be there?

Shall iwait till i get pcc request and then apply ?

My suggestion that you apply for PCC as it also takes times but don't send now, once you will get MR request you will be asked to submit PCC.

Although PCC shouldn't me more than 3 months old while you are applying for it. Even if it takes a month for PCC from now , the validity of PCC would be next 3 months. In total 4 months your MR request must be on its way and you can immediately deposit the PCC.
This is my view, seniors can add here..

I think Minimum validity of PCC is 6 Months. Not sure about others, but Indian PCC is valid for 6 Months. Other countries valid for an year. Just recheck from CIC site.

PCC validity is clearly advised by CIC to be 1 year from the date of issue. If CIC accepts 1 year validity then there should not be any confusion, Other members pls advise.

I just want to know my chance of getting NER after being charged. I am worried because some Dec applicants with the same timeline as mine have been receiving PER, while I still have not yet received mine. Please I need some info. Thank you very much.

Maximum Wait tym to get per is 4 months ftom the file submitted . also no news from cic means good news . so have faith m sure u will get the per in upcoming weeks

Thank you for the info, Rohitcan. I am a Dec 10 applicant and have been charged on Feb 2. Have you somehow know/heard anybody from your forum here who received NER after charging? Or the chance is quite minimal? I don't want to be pessimistic but I'm willing to hear real stories even if it hurts, you know what I mean.

Guys... Its getting tensed with every day passing by and no PER email.

Folks, do you suggest calling up CIC to know about application status? I don't know whether its the right thing to do or not... Can anyone throw some light about what could be the possible reason for no email been dispatched ??

Does DD encashed guarantees that all required document needed in the application is complete and is correct ??

On this forum I have found some people with same NOC and similar DD date have received their golden emai (Congrats!!) but why not for all ?? I think I am getting closer to the state of frustration...
