I'm November 21st Applicant, NOC 2171, my CC is not charged yet; do you think there is a hope for me ????

I am 16th December applicant, NOC-2172, Payment ModeD, DD is not encahshed Yet.

Have patience my friend and check with your bank next week. Most of the banks take 1 week to provide status of DD encashment. As per current trend, it takes approx 2 months to get DD encashed ...

There is always hope and you should call as well as send an email to get the status ....

I have sent an email on Jan 19th, but no reply till date.. I'm very tensed and can't wait till I call them, due to time zones i have to wait 9 Hours

You should not worry and definately call CIC. In case, you won't get a reply today then don't worry as in another thread someone mentioned that CIC might be closed on Monday (16 Feb). Also, you can post query on below thread where you can get more insight what to do next.

There are many things to hope like EE but sorry to inform you that no hope in 2171 for November Applicant.as it is already capped around 2-sep.Many September applicants already reported return of their application packages due to cap fill.

I called CIC yesterday.. they couldn't find my file ... the file reached NS on November 21 NOC 2171
they said: it's either sent back to you or not opened yet
my question is do they send files back without opening them? and if it was sent back shouldn't they have a date for that?
I didn't receive the application yet.... so where is it?
other members are saying that 2171 was already capped on 2nd September... then why the cap limits were not updated on CIC website?
CIC call center agent told me that my only option is to wait....

We submitted our papers me and my husband under NOC 2173 in the last week of September 2014, by Courier, we didn't receive the PER yet and we checked with the bank about a month ago, the cheaque was not cashed yet, should we start getting worried, should we call them or wait?
Now the online system is working, should we consider reapplying!!?
We are really in a dilemma here! please help.

Have you checked the Cap when you send the application, Please call cic to know your status.

HI mate,

Cic has stopped charging 2172 after Dec-15 application, So you need to check with bank once in two days to know your status or you need to wait till next month till you get PER.
