Call on 1-613-944-4000. (International number) Try with Skype or magic jack (free calls to Canada)
Use options 1 1 1 Line will be transferred to CIO.
Use options 1 1 3 1

1. Enter the UCI number if you have it.Else jump to point 2 below

2. You will be asked application number thrice. If you dont have the UCI number Do not enter anything.
Line will be transferred to a CIC call centre officer..

Ask for the UCI number giving the reasons why you want the same. They will ask you some details which you need to provide. If you are lucky you might just get the UCI number.

Called to CIC - they couldn't find my app(I'm 2172, 10th Dec) and unfortunately from Bhanu's words we don't know when app was reviewed(maybe at Feb beginning) we only know it was sent back Feb, 11th

I called up again today... For my UCI nbr if the file has been rejected with such a case.

Today they have confused or i should say satisfied me more...
I am also sailing in the same status.. they told your file cannot be tracked yet as it has not been opened.

And earllier I posted a file in 2171 NOC on Oct 16 which they told me has been returned on Feb 11, 2015...

Really thnk God for such a thing... I hope we all are thru.. I asked abt my 2172 Dec 15 file.. she is not able to track it as it might not have been opened..

I called them today and got update as they had returned my appl on 09th January. Filed Appl on024 Nov 2014 for NOC -2172.

Also can you confirm the reason of rejection? Which country you filed it from?

They said that they are not aware of rejection reason ,,, and will come to know only when I receive my package. I filed from Hyderabad , India.
